Chennai is leading in electronics manufacturing industries. Chennai port is the second largest in india. So both Hyderabad and Chennai have their own strengths and weaknesses. Moreover due to 3 big ports in chennai there are lots of container movements and traffic issues. For Hyderabad there is no such issues. We should not compare climatic conditions and no one can do anything on that. Due to sea shore Chennai is facing cyclones and for Hyderabad it is not. Telugu people should understand tamilnadu is the most industrialized state in india and is no 1 automobile, electronics, textile, leather . It is also number 1 in tourism and in health care. Tamil people are one of the leading people in india in several fields like in IT, space research, defence and in economic related fields. Tamilians contributed more than any other people in the field of indian missile development .in 1998 india conducted nuclear tests and two men headed that test are Tamilians. i am not sure how Hyderabad now, i live in Chennai, Chennai need development in public convenience(toilets), Food hygiene and safety, sewage, garbage treatment, water logging issues, Autos, hot weather is common in all costal cities, i don't complain, But good at Health care, Transport, education, cost of living, Chennai has all types of industries, job opportunity for everyone, the Bad political trend is continuing since 2017, so currently it is at the downside, Hoping to get better and good shape, and 40% Chennai people mother tongue is Telugu that is also increasing and that may be the reason for above mentioned issues.

And more we have even film city which is very big in India ramoji film city and kollywood does not have it.. Chennai was big till like 15 years back i think with post CBN Hyderabad kept growing continously, while Chennai didn't get good governance (with freebies and less development), but now i think Hyderabad is better it scores in offerable food, tolerable to other languages, cheaper house rents , climate, good governance. Chennai is better with cheaper public transport, cheap entertainment beach. In future probably in next 15 years Telangana might beat TN in GDP.

My friends recently visited to chennai with staying 3 days. He told there is always traffic. City is not clean compare to chennai. Most of the people spit on the road by chewing pan masala in HYD And many people speaking hindi language even the state language is Telugu. They does not know other language from middle class people even auto driver.

Chennai is having water problems , in November and December months most of areas flooded my sister staying in Chennai and their car washed away. Chennai grown in such away that it become very difficult to provide water supply yo the governments as they got limited resources. Hyderabad I have not faced such situations. I stayed in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad for almost equal no of years
