- The Side of Indonesia Western Media DON'T Show (Is this JAKARTA?) When you visit the SCBD District in Jakarta you may question; Is this Jakarta Indonesia? SCBD - Sudirman Central Business District is the modern side of Jakarta I have never seen before and its comes to live at night with neon lights.
Jakarta in general have pretty bad wrap but in my eyes is a city that is full of endless possibility and fun things to experience/admire. My travel mate and I rode on the new Jakarta MRT to SCBD - Sudirman Central Business District and later went into the Senayan City Mall which was amazing.

But jakarta still improve and building more modern area, if you like mall , jakarta have lots of mall, so many big mall in jakarta, my fovorite is central park mall , Spark mall , PIM 3 mall, Ashta mall , and sarinah mall because that mall have sky walk and skydec, for look sky line jakarta you must visit Sky walk in Spark mall

my home is at sub urban jakarta,and my place to work at south jakarta, the distance are only 28km,but it took 2 hours for me to go there every morning and 2 hours again to get back home in the evening. so much time for a short distance

Indonesia's capital city is expected to move to East Kalimantan in 2024 but Jakarta is still the center of Indonesia's economy, and Indonesia's new capital, Nusantara, will become the seat of government.
I don't think so, the density is not really bad and it's better compare to Manila and some city in SEA, actually it's megathrust that make the government decide to relocate their capital. Scientist believe Megathrust will hit the southern part of Java, especially southern Banten, and create enormous tsunami. The tsunami maybe as big as Tsunami in 2004 and bigger, relocation is one of their mitigation.
saya pikir karena pemerintah pusat tidak bisa menangani permasalahan Jakarta dan malas berpikir dan mempunyai sedikit solusi dengan mengorbankan paru-paru dunia (hutan).. pepohonan (hutan) berfungsi menyerap air hujan, jika kau rusak maka jangan salahkan curah hujan tinggi dan sumber mata air habis akibat kekeringan
mengurangi turunnya permukaan tanah adalah dengan cara menghentikan konsumsi air tanah dan membuat tempat penyaring air sungai menjadi air bersih sehingga bisa di konsumsi masyarakat Jakarta.. itu lebih masuk akal ketimbang merusak habitat flora dan fauna, menimbulkan perubahan iklim
