- As British foreigner exploring Indonesia I am curious to asked local Indonesian what fashion brand they were wearing and the interaction was pure and remarkable.
Indonesia capital Jakarta is massive and full of super malls such as the Grand Indonesia mall, Central Park Mall, Seneyan City mall etc. Inside those malls you will find luxury brands mix with local ones and people dressed to impress.

Indonesian local fashion brand are thriving in past 3 years, and a lot of festival (such as Jakcloth, kickfest, etc) and campaigns even from the president wearing local brand, if you're interested you can check Erigo, Tenue de Attire, Nah project, compass shoes, epidemic, house of smith, russ co, and many more 😁
See!! These I didn’t know. I guess there should be a balance between local and foreign brands in the country.

Those garments are actually produced in Indonesia ...... H&M in Cikarang ,West Java ..... Zalora in Sukoharjo ,Central Java ...... Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss in Bandung......etc...... They are then send to the world......

we have a lot of nice products with a very good quality material, but sometimes we export them in low price, and then import them back with a lot more expensive price, and young generation feel proud to wear foreign brands, it's something we need to change, local products and the foreign one supposed to be balanced
