I've been tweaking this deck myself and wound up dropping Kida for Lost in the Woods. The Queen can come in on Turn 2 and start singing We Don't Talk About Bruno right away. Paired with a Turn 3 Ariel, they can cast any song. The Muses replace Cloudkicker and can sing Lost in the Woods to trigger the combo. But it's rarely necessary because Amber/Emerald has soooo much removal at their disposal. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo is the MVP of insanve plays, but The Queen generates all the value. When she quests, she can give an opposing characters -4 and another opposing character +4. Then have The Muses sing World's Greatest Criminal Mind and you can Bounce and Banish in one move. I've made the current budget version public on Dreamborn if anyone cares to try it. (Lorcana Decks > Taylor Wilson > Amber/Emerald - Diss Tracks)
I tried your deck list and I’m liking the synergies with all the floodborns. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo is good, especially when you use it to replay a floodborn while Bucky is in play.
@@markymark91 This is great to hear, thank you! If you come up with any changes that makes it more consistent or feels better, please let me know. My previous version didn't have Minnie Mouse or Prince Eric in there, but I wanted to see if Bodyguards helped elusive characters quest more freely. I just pulled my first Diablo and Ursula (DoA), so I'm tinking with the upscale version, but honestly...the budget deck feels competitive to me.
It’s the same math as Ariel. If you play 15 items, it has roughly 70% hit rate. But 15 items is really only a thing in a Sapphire/Steel Lucky Dime deck (e.g. 4 Pawps, 4 Spheres, 4 Quills, 3 Dimes)
@jhparsons Mathematically sure, but once he misses he does nothing else for your deck at 1-3. If Ariel misses she still serves a purpose. Also you're more likely to keep 2 items at least in your opening hand vs keeping at most 1 song in your opening hand. Ariel is a staple in songs decks, Scuttle is bad.
@@IzzyDave probably just agree to disagree, but you’re moving the goalposts. You initially said he was bad because he misses(which he doesn’t if you build the deck correctly). I agree Ariel is better on the board, but she’s also a 3 cost rare so she should be. However, Scuttle provides much needed board presence for item decks at the 2 slot, while helping with items. If you have your items already… don’t play the Scuttle if you have other options.
@jhparsons Yeah, you're right. My original statement did specifically blame his ability being why he was bad. I guess I what I should've said he's just bad overall. Scuttle in an items deck is not the same as Ariel in a songs deck. I just seem to miss with Scuttle way more than I ever did with Ariel. Call me an outlier I guess 😅

thanks for the decklist man, I am so gonna try it in my locals!

this is my absolute favorite deck to play right now. Been enjoying Pegasus in it as well. super fun!
People are like oh I don’t think lemon lime is going to be that powerful. I think it’s going to be fun
Loving this combo! Few budget tweaks here and there but man is it fun to play!! I've been trying to squeeze inkcaster in there. Great video!!
Don’t squeeze inkcaster in. It’s not the deck 😅
Only thing I’ve found it to be useful in is a 70+ card Milling deck
I agree. It definitely seems that way. A nice early cantrip just seems so nice for emerald lol
@@jamesmammet9879 perhaps if emerald/sapphire items deck ever becomes a thjng
I’ve been experimenting with a Bucky version of this deck.
I like this lemon lime deck
Winter accidentally loaded copied the amber/ruby deck list in the comments. Lol
Lol I'll fix it xD
Scuttle is so bad. He misses way too often
