so weird, I had this problem today with my thinkpad x1 extreme gen 1, I tried several methods I found online. reseat the ssd, hold power button 30 seconds, and yours to remove ram and disconnect the power to board, and hold 30 sec and start, all works the first start after I did the trick, but when I turn it off and try turn on again, it won't start again, so frustrating...
Hello Step 1.unscrew your laptop step 2.remove the battery and RAM from the Laptop Step 3.Long press the power button for 30 seconds(without RAM and battery) Step 4.Now Return your battery and RAM Step 5:screw back your Laptop and now You Can Use your Power button Hope that helps😊

I have an HP where the caps lock light and wireless lights both blink, & power light stays on. So far no luck with any of these possible solutions.
do u the put the battery and the ram where it belongs after it turns on
