    May Allah bless you for your hard work. I have one question:
    @3:50, you mention that to convert wattage into amperage, we need to multiply with 8 for 3 phase and with 6 phase. But this contradicts with what you told in your videos of electrical designing of G+5 and G+10 building.
    There you mentioned 1.9 for 3-phase and 8 for 1-phase

    I appreciate your work. I am hoping for one clarification:
    It seems that the power formula you used for resistive and inductive load is for single phase. But, then why the voltage is 230 volts and not 120 or 110 volts.
    If it is a three phase formula, then where is square root of 3.

    Hey I wanted to ask according to that table, if you take less sq mm wire than rated it can burn right, but my question is why not always take the higher sq mm wire? If later I add more sockets or whatever it can add more current and it can burn the wire, but if we take 10sq mm always then the wire won't burn, and if it exceeds the mcb load then only the mcb will trip and nothing bad will happen to the wire causing fires right?

    In your topic KW to Amp conversation you describe that for 1KW to amp conversation we are use 1.9 or 2 as a multipication factor (for 3phase) and in this video you describe that 1Kw to Amp convertation the MF will be 8 (fro 3 phase).. so my qustion is taht why we are not using same MF (MF= Multiplication Factor) in both cases ???

  • @ammaraakram492
    @ammaraakram492 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You mentioned that you are having 3 phase supply, but while calculating current for 1kW which is 8A you have used 230V voltage. I didn't understand this.

    • @ElectricalInfinity
      @ElectricalInfinity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For example , you are using a 3 phase energy meter but using each phase separately for each room and using single phase for load not 3 phase. I used term 3 phase to just consider power factor consideration. Overall you are using a 3 phase energy meter for which power factor is different and each phase R or Y or B is used separately for each bedroom the voltage in each phase is 230.

    As u have said that for 3 phase load u hv to multiply with 8, and for 1 phase load u hv to mutiply with 6, for calculating amp. of mcb,
    And at last u hv consider 3 ph loads are inductive, and 1ph loads are resistive,
    hw do u consider that, because in 1 ph there also inductive loads like fan, acs, mixer, exhust fans,
    Refer to this hw do u consider the pf. of 3 ph is 0.6 and that of 1 ph 0.8,

    • @abdulhafeezanjum2391
      @abdulhafeezanjum2391 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Inductive loads are those load which have windings, like motors and chokes for florescent tube lights etc. Resistive loads are light loads, iron (non-inductive loads). Although ACs, refrigerators and fans are motor load but their PF is taken as 0.9 because they have capacitors in their circuits, which improve their power factor. Normally inductive load PF is taken as .75 and restive load as 1.
