This is just evil. People justifying racism as preferences. I’m glad I rejected the black man I truly love and I will keep rejecting and never go back to him. Singledom is true freedom in contrast to play racist partiality.

I think starring does not only come from a space of being confused or disagreeing with what they see but it also comes from a space of being inspired and wishing that they could be in the same position as you in terms of being free to make any choice and be associated with whoever you want. As a society we all wish we could reach that level of being free to make decisions and choices of your own without any societal influences and customs. God bless ur relationship

I am African American and my husband is Puerto Rican. Being said, I am in an interracial relationship myself. But when I am out in public, (especially when I am not with my husband at the time) I always get dirty looks from other interracial couples towards me. And I think it is because, they think that I am going to have a problem with them. And I don't appreciate the treatment. It's usually when I am out minding my own business, doing day-to-day things. Just a side note, but I had an ex boyfriend who was Cuban (white Cuban). And we never had problems, issues while going out together in public. Neither did we go out Looking for it, just like what I am seeing when I go out alone in public. We never looked around to see who else was black in the grocery store, and start putting up a defense wall before I even realize there's an interracial couple nearby. I do not appreciate the treatment. I'm going to be leaving this comment on several posts. I am posting this because I did not have a good day at Costco today. I am married, pregnant, and was out price comparing the bulk items while my husband was at work. And I almost left crying. All because someone, (interracial couple) dirty look, because they thought I was going to have a problem with it, and I just out carrying on with myself.

Bro what???? I know for fact this is true today I had a Asian girl coworker that I work with and me and her really like each other when we walk around together and went out to eat together I experienced a lot of glances and stares . A lot of Hispanic people kept looking at us as if they feel I wasnt worth her or she should be with a white guy. But she’s not!!! We live in a world that people think just because a non black girl is not black she is automatically supposed to be attracted to white men is not always the case!!! People to need to accept that !!! Me and her actually went to lunch spent the whole day together exchanged numbers and social media and will see each other again. make a long story short people can’t accept it they have hate in their heart for no reason what makes me less than a white person people can’t even answer it. I just don’t understand it

    Exacltly, The stares!!!.
Only mixed couples know these typical "stares". Like the gentleman in the video stated: The stares are many times angry jealous ones, especially if its a black man with a pretty white women. I have noticed that people somehow "dont mind" if its a black man with a less attractive, maybe overweight white female. Then all of a sudden it all seems "ok".

When I used to live in SA - I used to date this white girl and it would happen so often that other black people, mainly black men would approach me with the ‘you have made it’ line😂, what blew my mind is that it would be from all sort of people from different walks of life from fuel attendants to corporate people- it was so strange . However I only experienced it in SA, which I think was due the countries history.

2:00 I'm doing theology in uni and we just went through this topic.I'll answer it for y'all.. NO. Unequally yolked has always referred to non-believers (OT: it always refers to nations where YHWH the God of Israel is not worshiped, and Idols are instead elevated and worshiped. NT: Jesus outright says "do not be unequally yolked with UNBELIEVERS".) Race is never even mentioned in the Bible per se. People were usually Identified by their nation. E.g. There would not be black, white, coloured or Indian South Africans, but just SOUTH AFRICANS. Israel itself was mixed after they moved to Canaan (was considered and extension of Africa and connected with Egypt and Ethiopia -- do you research and read Bible commentaries) and even when they got conquered by other nations or they conquered other nations. A notion called hybridity would come into play and it wouldn't be a big deal as long as people worshiped the God of Israel. Race (skin colour) was not really a thing but if you must know, Moses and his Cushite wife were most probably not the same race and look at how God used him, Boaz married Ruth (Moabitess woman) who became David's great grandmother. And as you can imagine, that "mixing" probably didn't start and stop there. As long as people were both believers then it was and is cool under the Lord's eyes. (Disclaimer the Israelites were middle Eastern and that is neither black nor white exclusively so.. .do with that what you will.) And lastly Acts 17:26, 1 Peter 2:9 and many more in the NT. Also the Dutch Reformed Church used (keyword:USED) to have the believe that interracial marriages or relationships were bad and impure and what not, which became the foundation of the apartheid government. The World Council of Churches (WCC) REFUTED THAT THEOLOGY because it had no scriptural foundation. For more info on this, please google the Cottesloe Declaration. Peace be upon you. Go forth into the world and do what the Lord asks of you : Love Him, love your neighbour freely and as potently as you love yourself knowing you are all equal under the watchful eye of the Lord and make disciples of the nations. Much love. Daughter of the Most High.

  • @bernadettelee6403

Moses' wife was white and God gave his sister leprosy because she gossiped about Moses wife being black. Christians be Christlike do not give Jesus a bad name because He made us black pink purple and blue like the rainbow because He is into diversity. Get with it Peeples. Love, embrace and be joyful as we celebrate our diversity in the people and our kids around us. Our identity is indeed in Christ. These questions are a bit outdated in these days but we understand where they are coming from and we are patient with them because we love them. We just want to be. Ourselves in Christ. Amen!!! God bless you two and your kids one day.

The bible def doesn't speak against interracial dating. Moses wife was an Egyptian. There were many interracial relationships in the bible.
God didn't want Israelites marrying ppl of other faiths / beliefs, because there would be problems raising your kids on different spiritual beliefs

  • @trayfor
    @trayfor 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Hey, just a random dude who stumbled on your channel.
2 things, firstly Christianity and interracial marriage. We have one prominent account of interracial marriage in the bible. That was between Moses and an Ethiopian (black) woman. You can read this lovely article on that:
    www.desiringgod.org/interviews/can-a-white-woman-marry-a-black-man
Secondly on the language spoken by Ade. Its yoruba.
    "I am hungry." x 2
    "I want food."
    "food"
    "please please"
"did you not hear me" x2

Love the video,I'm new to the channel🔥, the unequally yoked in the bible refers to believers marrying unbelievers not between races. The are accounts in the bible of interracial relationships, such as Moses marrying a woman of a different race(cushite=Ethiopian), after his sister and brother criticized him, they were punished by God.We are brothers and sisters in union with Christ.
