Baana means bond/ bonding. Nibbaana means no bonds or being away from bonding. All these to be done with the mind. Mind purification is the answer for nibbana in the simplest way if explained in short. The energy of a purified mind, and the energy of the Buddha and the energy of the birth land of the buddha to be away from the bonds, assist according to pure dhamma. True dhamma is not be seen by word to word translations which The Buddha said not to translate since it damages the dhamma therein.
Exactly there is no rebirth it is Nirvana. Cessation of cycle of birth and death of samara is the Nirvana that can only happen with cessation of greed the thanha including bhawa තණ්හා. When there is no clinging to anything there is no more patichchasamuppada cycle to continue on delusion of self. But we know our great prof cling to Sinhala and Buddha sasana to be continued on our meritorious land. Until it rejuvenated as Sinhala Buddhist Kingdom prof will protect it in a different form as samyak deva deferred his Nirvana until then. May he attain supreme Nirvana after sinhala Buddhist kingdom is rejuvenated for sure. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
