Wauw! Just found this video, been watching a lot about this topic. This one is the best so far, love the idea with the keywords, really simplifies things. Thanks for taking your time to make this video! :)
Mate, this is a freckin SICKKKK VIDEO. I'VE been looking everywhere for a simple holistic overview of the whole idea of pain. My lectures unfortunately are unable to do so.
Dr Campbell, am I right in assuming that from nociceptor to dorsal horn and inside the spinothalamic tract is one long continuous neurone or have you drawn it that way to simplify? Thank you
In your Pain 3 Afferent diagrams video 29 Nov 2013 you note that myelinated A delta fibres do not have relay neurones - just seeking clarification to help with my learning.
It's not misspelled. It's just the British version of spelling. Over the years, the American version of spelling has deviated away from the original/British spelling of English. Other examples would be centre and colour. Those are the original (British) way to spell them, but over the years, Americans altered them to become center and color.
The fact that you can notice , hear , point out and be this disgusted by saliva from his speech through a microphone might actually suggest some form of 'psychological condition' , try seeing a doctor dear.

Dr Campbell, am I right in assuming that from nociceptor to dorsal horn and inside the spinothalamic tract is one long continuous neurone or have you drawn it that way to simplify? Thank you
Just one long neurone, e.g. the one from your foot to the dorsal horn may be over a metre long.
Wow! That's quite amazing. Thank you

Just wanted to ask how does Morphine block the pain sensation?? Your videos are so good and helpful! THANKYOU SO MUCH :)
Morphine stimulates the pain inhibitory pathways by stimulating endorphins receptors.
very insightful but why is neuron misspelled?
