I live right near this place and have never ventured inside it, it's interesting to see what it's like inside and as you say you enter at your own risk. Your video's are always up to an incredible high standard and I can't wait to see what's next in store!

Man that place is huge! I would totally explore this place too if I have a chance. The whole time I was like I hope they know how to go back to their hidden gears lol.
Possible suggestion, wear a respirator mask in these places because asbestos is no joke. It took my Dad a year ago...otherwise great shoot, I love places like that, I thought of you when I explored one where I live, "the farm colony"

I’m a retired General Building Contractor and the deteriorating condition of the walls, floors, and structure frees asbestos into the air and it is stirred up when you walk around the facility. A major problem in these environments. Masks should be considered mandatory. Asbestos exposure is cumulative. Deadly!
Jason, I love your exploring videos. I have heard you say "always expose for the sky", but did you do this for the inside shots where you could see sky through the windows? Or at that point do you find a happy medium? Also, the wheel chair shot...what were you exposing for there?
I know it's not always about the gear, but in this case, being able to see the result in real time as you spin your dial would be invaluable in this situation with such a wide dynamic range. I'd so love to have a mirrorless system.

Hello Mr Lanier. Do you mainly use Prime Lenses? What did you use in this shot? and do you think a Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 is a good lens to use for a architecture shot?

Tha a6000 only begin at 500 uss :) Is my only camera since Jason A7rII with a g master lens is unreachable for me, but you will be amaze with the a6k!
