    Valuable information. I’m past the tree removal stage to carve a space on 6 acres, but only 3 of it developable for building a homestead as the rest is wetlands with a river access. A phase 2 dock project. We have deer and other wildlife which is why we got away from traffic/noise including neighbors. I’ve learned some good ideas from you on equipment and seeding which I want to do myself now. You have a new subscriber. Thank you

    Good video. Yes Sir , communication is very important when dealing with contractors. When I hire a contactor , I have a written and signed document in detail of all the
    work they hired to do. that avoids all the " I didn't agreed to that. Yes you did". Regardless if its land clearing or replacing a light bulb. It sad that a verbal agreement and a hand shake is a thing in the past.

      Unfortunately no, they were 5-10 year old pines...not even big enough to take to a paper mill for pulp. Plus, if you don't have large acreage, you can't get a logger to log your property....not worth his time to move equipment. Thanks for watching. Brad&Deb

    What part of Florida is that in and what company do you recommend for Lot clearing

    • @PineyGroveHomestead
      @PineyGroveHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's Northwest Florida in the Panhandle between Tallahassee and Pensacola. Most land clearing companies don't like to trailer their equipment more than an hour so keep that in mind when looking. We used Marty Taylor and Fred O'Neal (two different companies), but there are lots of other companies out there. Facebook Marketplace is a good place to find someone near you. Good luck with your land clearing as it can be an intimidating process! Brad&Deb
