Such great tidbits of change and challenge, Sean. I love the multimodal idea; it can be a great way to ride adjacent communities and attend their bike events, too! Adding that to my 2025 cycling for transport list for sure. I also love biking to take part in something completely unrelated to biking (directly) like riding to an outdoor concert, going for an afternoon of fly fishing, or heading down to the lake for a paddle board session. Happy New Year, my friend. I'm looking forward to exploring more of your city's wonders with you in 2025.
My multi year resolution has been to visit as many of the Calgary bike paths as possible. I've found some amazing places but still have so much yet to cover.
If you're a Strava user there is a way for you to see the % of the pathway network you've ridden. Might be good motivation for you yycpathways.ca/dashboard
Just remember, every journey has started with just "one step", figuratively or physically. Just one small step leads to another and so forth, there are no such thing as "failures" just an opportunity to try it differently the next time. Mindfulness
