  • Ghost of Tsushima arguably changed the entire videogame industry by introducing new ways to captivate the players. It introduced new systems of travel and storytelling and what all that means to the realm of open world games. Suckerpunch created a visual, technical and narrative masterpiece in my opinion. with the recent PC remake of the game coming i decided to revisit what made it so special in July 2020. i hope Ghost of Tsushima 2 or whatever the sequel will be called is revealed soon.

Great review. As one of my top 3 favorite games of all time, I love how you bring up the small things like the curiosity about people's stories and self reflection. These details, combined with allowing the player to live in this environment, really make the game for me. Thank you for sharing!

I appreciate your writing here, it is really good. But you are not justifying the title of the video itself. Throughout the duration of the video, you have praised the beauty of the game and I agree that visually it is special in terms of art style and presentation. But how does that change the video game industry? You didn’t mention anything else about the game - its combat, open world design, characters, story. The game is great for sure but it does not evolve or move forward the video game industry at all. There is no narrative masterpiece here, it serves just a fine working story. The open world design (although I do enjoy it) is stuck in the past. The combat is great and fun to play but then again, AI and many other issues hold it back. So how is the game an industry defining masterpiece? As a love letter to this game, I appreciate this video and great job on it, but I believe you do need to change what your claims are for which there is no proof in the video.

Dude, I didn't see that the video is only 5 minutes long. Im used with these videos being at least 20 minutes. Verdict: top notch writing and editing. Really nothing to complain there. Only thing that you need to do is make them longer. Bravo brother, keep it up!
