- Hey what's up gamers, Sophist the description overlord is back once again which is ironic because I'm not in this video, but that just means I can make fun of them even though I haven't watched the video yet. Now anyways while you're here, here's some interesting facts about forks that I learned online.
Forks originally had one prong, until the Romans added one more in the Middle Ages. Before the advent of forks, humans used two knives to eat food - ouch!
Forks date back to ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece and the word fork itself comes from the Latin furca, which means “pitchfork.” However, in their earliest form, forks were used to lift heavy meats and as carving tools rather than for actual dining.
It is against the law to eat chicken with a fork in Gainesville, Georgia, the 'Chicken Capital of the World.
In the U.S. forks did not become popular until the 19th century, when the Rockefellers, Morgans and Carnegies popularized them.
Forks, the most often used dining tool, were previously considered blasphemous. They initially appeared in Italy in the 11th century. These spiky spaghetti-twirling devices were considered an abomination to God. And why, you could ask? Because they were "artificial hands," they were deemed sacrilegious.

I feel like in an alternate universe, my friendship with Nick would have actually ended.

I didn't know someone could be a termite and a rat at the same time, but Brent proved this to be true after getting exposed by Nick. I've actually seen Brent on the NYC subway dragging pizza to feed some random turtles. This also confirms that Vernias is Ash's Gible and it now makes sense why Nick has such a rivalry with him.

I remember writing an article last year about spoons, and I learned that babies born into rich families would often have silver spoons placed in their mouths, as a symbol of their wealth.
Hence why “born with a silver spoon in your mouth” is a phrase used to describe someone as a spoiled little brat
Also, the earliest recorded usage of spoons dates back to around 1000 BC and were made of wood, stone, or ivory.
