Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well!
Haven't made a Smash video in a while, so I figured I'd bring back the K. Rool that everyone's missed in a long time. I've mentioned before that if I were to make Elite Smash related content, this would be the style of it where I'd incorporate my montage feel into it. Lemme know if y'all still like this kind of Smash content I'm trying to put out!

In this specific instance, it's actually quite common. TLDR: first hit of up-smash shield pokes, allowing spike hitbox to land.
We all remember the lengths TCNick had to go to get this spike in his "every spike" series

Ding dong is definitely still a thing. The timing on it is pretty tight though. Really hard to hit in the online lag.

At 8:16 you ranted about getting to the Great Bay Temple.
You don't actually "need" the stone mask to enter the Great Bay Temple. You can do the pirates fortress without it, it's just significantly harder. and that's what i did my first ever playthrough of Majora's Mask. i never found the guy in the circle that playthrough.
Yeah. Heck, in 3DS, Invis-o-Bill is INSIDE the Pirate’s Fortress. Probably because someone at Nintendo wanted people to try some forced stealth.
@@JAnne_Bonne I will say, while the change makes semi sense, given how to use the mask; I also hated it.
Primarily because I had no idea where they moved it; and you have no reason to use the Lens of Truth in the Pirate Fortress (there's nothing hidden there, and there's no indication Invis-o-Bill is there in the 3DS version). Unlike Ikana Valley where the dead are everywhere, so you're encouraged to use the Lens all over. So, I ended up getting every mask, except for that one, and did the Pirates Fortress by just sniping the guards with arrows. I ended up looking up where they moved it, and kinda rolled my eyes when I saw it.
It’s not even significantly harder, you can just shoot the guards and they’ll be stunned for a while lol

For the record: You don’t need Stone Mask to get the eggs from Pirate’s Fortress, you can shoot the pirates with the Bow or Hookshot. (The 3DS version fixes the Stone Mask placement btw) Also, Great Bay Temple is about following the flow of the water pipes which show where you need to go.
Oh, and the Smash stage looks over Great Bay Coast, not Great Bay Temple.

I think that’s general Pac-Man shenanigans and not something exclusive to Logan.
I enjoyed the mixture of the normal paced gameplay and talking and the fast paced edits and memes. I thought you got the balance on that well.
Also agreed about Great Bay. I kinda like the dungeon, but the whole area is kind of a pain. I think Majora's Mask improves on succeeding playthroughs in general, but Great Bay is still a bit of a chore.

when brent started ranting about great bay i felt his anger the whole zora area is a complete slog to get through especially in the remake as the swimming is tied to your magic and because there are no magic jars or shops in that area you run out fast your your only saving grace is the location of the stone mask changed (its in the pirate fortress itself and not icana canyon)
I can't believe they added so much quality of life changes in the 3DS version, but they nerfed swimming. I heard the swimming used to be so good. I raged at trying to do dolphin dives at the end-game dungeon.

I did my first actual consistent playthrough of Majora's Mask this week (3D because I'm the type of person who would need the save states and am not old enough to be able to play with N64 graphics even though I grew up with gamecube and Wii U lol) and was dreading the Zora area... yep.
Funny thing being that the Stone Mask isn't even required to get through the Pirate Fortress. Just makes it a tad harder without.
Ah yes, the dose of K Rool content I needed. I like the format a lot. Swapping between montage and dialogue over gameplay works well. And the DK Jungle Beat edit at the end was SPECTACULAR (I just really love that game).
The return of his smash content is back: And it’s the best it’s ever been. All those Mario party videos and different playthroughs were all worth it.
I would love to see more of this with other characters like Donkey Kong, Ganondorf, Bowser, Little Mac and Bowser Jr.
As for montages - there’s a chance we could see characters finally getting the spot while some get sequels.
And for the bullying series - it has to continue, some Smashtubers are rarely making and some smash pros are leaving or wish to make content.
As for Smash Bros Z animation - I don’t know (Cooler video was cool - though it lacked voice acting that’s it.)
You know when Brent uploads, you should expect a few things.
1.fantastic and well timed edits
2. Good and stylish gameplay.
3. And monke.
And all three deliver in this video.
The fact Brent can monologue about a game flaw while still gaming and somehow winning surpasses Eevee hidden block monologging

8:08 These are valid facts. I played Majora's Mask (N64) as a kid and needed a guide to get through the majority of the game due to the cryptic nature of many of the quests. I know the game now like the back of my hand, but the game can be so frustrating to someone playing it completely blind! I think the 3DS version helped to alleviate some of the confusion with the updated Bomber's Notebook, but it still has its moments.

100% agree about the majora’s mask great bay temple rant lol. You forgot the part where you have to put the eggs in bottles. So if you have only 1 bottle there’s going to be a lot of back and forth from the fortress and the ones under water.

As someone who has been playing a ton of OoTMM Randomizer, I can confirm that the rant at 8:04 is very true (It's even worse in Randomizer, because items I might need may be locked behind pots/chests inside of Great Bay, and it's just unfun to play through, especially when I have to go there early, get an item, leave, and then go back once I get Ice Arrows to wrap up)

9:00 I'm actually playing through Majora's Mask 3D and am about to start Great Bay. At the start that area was boring and the temple annoying but after so many playthroughs, I've gotten used to them. It's even got to a point where I can do every area in one cycle. I actually do the entire snow dungeon without the sword under time pressure, because I'm upgrading my sword and do the romani ranch quests at the same time.

As someone who plays both King K Rool, and DK, I can state that they are polar opposites. If I try to go from DK's "YEAAAH", wholesome energy, to King K Rools "Welcome to Kremlin's, how can we ruin your day?" devious crocodile energy- I feel physically unwell. I actually have to play another character in between to allow myself to adjust to the extreme shift, or I feel like I'm going to vomit.

Great bay temple rant was on point. Honestly Majoras mask was so different from previous titles with how long it took to even get to the temples and only having 4 of them instead of like 7 in most previous games entries.
