I recently typed & searched for "George Weah" ... just out of a bit of boredom & to reminisce about my footballing childhood memories. Now, YT is recommending all these players I forgot about... And wow ... We were truly entertained during "Italia 90" & throughout the 90's in Italy ! What a great period in time for football.
The secret to all great players is RHYTHM as soon the ball gets under the feet of Brazilians, Argentinians, Africans, Arabs and some Europeans. Dribbling is based on rhythm, innovation, creativity, and improvisation. Sports is about IMAGINATION. Most players that failed with top clubs do not have rhythm when they face two defenders. It takes rhythm to dance around two defenders (exceptions of some top players in the midfield without dribbling: Sergio Busquets, Toni Kroos, Granit Xhaka, Rodri, Luka Modric, most are Europeans and it works/worked for them). Comparing the Brazilian Manchester Utd Antony who never gathers some rhythm before he shoots or passes back, but his countryman Arsenal Martinelli plays with excellent rhythm). Some countries do not have cultural emphasis on skills based on rhythm in their techniques (in the midfield, forward). Watch Ronaldinho, Pelé, Maradona, Garrincha, Messi, Ronaldo9, a young Ronaldo7, Son Heung-min, Zidane, Neymar, Mbappe, Iniesta, Kaká, Luis Suárez, Jamal Musiala, Vini Jr., Doku, Yamal, Adama Traoré, Jack Grealish, Bryan Mbeumo, Kudus...and most players in the Futsal have been built on rhythm and creativity.
Bro just never took football seriously, was more interested in money. But he proved himself in Seria A and Premier League. That's enough to know how good a player he was
@hegeliandianetik2009 Because I'm a Nigerian and at that time he was the most popular player in our country. We knew everything he did and why. When he established himself in European football, his moves were always about how well he was paid. Anzi Makachala, Played in the US, China, bro became a roadman for the highest bidder. We always understand those decisions because these guys are playing to get their whole extended family out of poverty, so they usually don't prioritize trophies. Mikel, Ighalo, Kanu, Okocha. They all left the highest levels of football too young and chased the dough to keep their family fed. It's not a jab, just an observation.
he became more intelligent in Seattle Sounders, but by then he had lost much of his pace. If he had the technical ability he had in in the latter stages when he was still in his athletic prime, he would have been on par with Eto'o IMO.
Martin’s spent his best time playing in Italy and doesn’t show up for national call ups. He contributed nothing to Nigeria football he won nothing for Nigeria hence he is not too known
The man with 99 top speed in Playstation

How exactly did you arrive at the conclusion the he was more interested in money than football?
