- In this video, we run the HSP XSTR PRO 1/10 Brushless 4 WHEEL DRIVE RC buggy on a backyard track!! This CHEAP and UNDER-RATED RC Buggy houses a 3300KV BRUSHLESS motor and a re-branded HOBBYWING ESC!. It seriously hauls ass! I also showcase a couple of upgrades with some links below!

Great job. I own 2 ExceedRC Sunfires and love them both. I will definitely be looking into HPS for my next buggy. They are light weight and plenty fast with upgrades. The stock spur gear on one of my Sunfires is a Mod .6 and the other is a 48 pitch plastic. I guess it depends on the version you choose either brushed or brushless. Overall the parts are very reasonable and the only fault I can say is the flimsy dogbones and the access to the bottom motor screw. Nice run on your track. I think this is the perfect environment for this cool RC. Awesome run. 🏁🏁
Yes, i ve seen your sunfires. These things are bulletproof for this application. Spurs are metal and tough, just like the Redcat Tornado. Best value 1/10 buggy my friend
They work great on the track your driving on. I'm not sure how well they work for speed runs as the front end is a bit sloppy at least on my Sunfires. I probably need to replace the rod ends. Mine don't do well bashing or off of big jumps. Dog bones don't hold up very well but for running on a small track they seem to do real well. @@phillybrc
@RCRoads def not a basher, but the jumps on our track are getting bigger and no issues.
Yes but you know how to drive and land better than me. I think I probably abuse my cars a bit but all 4 dogbones bend on mine. Perhaps the HPS ahs better drive shafts. @@phillybrc

@phillybrc I would love too, I'll let you know if I get delayed again going to my trailer, I was supposed to be gone this weekend but the ground was to wet and we couldn't get on the property.

Nice video! Hello friend, I have the same car that I recently bought and I cannot run at maximum speed at 3S because the right front wheel lifts up and skids, what could it be? Does your car have a stock engine, electronics and pinion? Thank you
Hi, yes, everything is stock on my car. I would check to ensure if your shock shafts aren't bent. Often, the piston wont retract and deliver power to the wheels. Also, check bearings and check your hinge pins are straight and not missing any c-clips. Hope these suggestions help.
