zabu ain't no S tier no more.. crazy how SD can just flip the meta on its head in 2 days after a video like this comes out.
Stopped playing the game when Daken was released... I just came back and oh boy, I don't know which cards or decks are good, which ones I should focus on buying, etc... This is a great list! Got Emma Summers and I'll probably get x23 with Tokens.
Great reasoning as always. Yes, cannonball is not needed and there are other 5 costs that are better or at least an alternative. He can find good success alongside Prof X. I don't feel the need for him to kill anything. I think of him instead as a card that can disrupt the board and . Pretty viable against Thanos, Surfer and Lockdown. Excellent decision with Cull, great card but no one really needs to buy him now with tokens because of Crossbones. If Crossbones buff stays then others should wait for another spotlight with Cull if they really want to, as he won't go down a series this year. Very pleased that Selene moved up. Yes, she's not needed like cannonball but nice to have, definitely not worth 6k, should be 3k. She provides good disruption even if you don't hit a goblin because you can still send over your card that might have a negative power now via Annihilus, so more clog. Your opponent would think twice before using their potentially 0 or negative powered card. I wish she reverts to being negative 1 power though. I think Hope should be in S-Tier. You don't need to build around her as she is can fit in almost every archetype. Doesn't need to have crazy extra energy procs like +2 energy twice, even +1 twice is enough for me. Not crazy strong like the heyday of Ms Marvel or Loki but less restrictive when it comes to deck building. Shaw is popular now so it's a solid pull in this week's spotlight if you don't have him. I think he should be higher in the ranking because I think he's better than Silver Samurai and more needed in his archetype than Samurai is.

I think Shaw deserves to be in B-tier given how strong he's in surfer decks. Can win a whole lane by himself with the right combo.
Solid input! I think Surfer decks have been gaining some steam lately too - I'm interested to see if U.S. Agent adds to that even more🤔
I'm a huge Surfer player, and I love Shaw; the problem is, he can literally ONLY go into Surfer decks. He is too pigeonholed to be better than C-tier.
I don't know when this was ranked orignially but I would remove thanos from s tier atm, he's about to get massively changed, We don't know what that change entails at the moment, It would feel awful for someone to finally save up the 6k tokens and buy thanos only to get get a substantially different card than a week ago.
He’s still a fun and must have card imo. I don’t think he would be nerfed to a large extent. Remember that he’s a tian. 😊😂😂
@@thedonhorusgaming5165 I don't think it will be too bad either but I also cannot recommend someone buy thanos right now because we just don't know. He should have his own tier of (Wait and see) since we just can't know right now how good he will be post changes.
Thanos would need to have low performance in order to drop down from being absolutely worth 6,000 tokens imo - he provides a whole archetype with a variety of specific shells (Thanos ramp, zoo, destroy) for any player regardless of their collection. Most top meta cards don't provide that kind of individual value even when they have high winrates.
@@docty_snap While I completely understand thanos has a ton of value. With the changes they're going for with the stones focusing on thanos a lot of the current archetypes they excel in could very well die off. He's unlikely to be very bad post change but it's certainly not impossible. I just wouldn't personally feel comfortable recommending anyone buy thanos until we know more about the changes.

Its a really helpful guide to all the non whale players out there.
But I would say Mocking Bird is S tier for sure. Its very flexible with just a squirrel girl/Mysterio. Even the locations like Savage Land/Central Park gives her discount. Slamming down 9 power on turn3 (safe from Shang) puts a player way ahead.
Great input! Mockingbird definitely has an argument for S tier; I'm interested to see her playrate this season after the recent Thanos nerfs🤔
This is such a great video to help me figure out what to focus on. Glad to see that the cards I am after are solid buys.

I am almost series 4 complete I just need echo, lady death strike, man-thing, havok, and martyr. They're all about the same usefulness and I got the tokens so I think I'm gonna let RNG decide out of man-thing/lady deathstrike/echo. I don't feel like I got the series 5 cards to make havok a good choice for me and martyr is very niche and not great. So I think I'm just gonna go with whatever pops in next for me in the token shop.
I see iron-lad everyone, him being S tier, even I do have. Sadly, there is no room in many decks for that card, pretty much unplayable at the moment

Yes, I think he just gets bumped up 1 tier. He is rather niche and still replaceable, just a more viable alternative now.
It's too small bro, me as beginner need to see and read the name of the card to know what it is.
It's a lot of cards to fit in a list on one screen, so I don't have a great way to zoom in more.
I keep a Jpg copy of the full list in the resources channel in my Discord (link in vid description) that can be downloaded and zoomed in.

The unholy trinity package of Hood,Sentry and Anni has more decks to slot into than Elsa right now. Currently my best performing Anni deck is with Werewolf while the best Elsa is the Silky Smoooove. Depends on what other cards you're missing from those decks.
Annihilus + White Widow.
Annihilus is more competitive, but if you're missing Sentry and The Hood then you will have to wait to get good value from him, as mentioned. Elsa wants Kitty Pryde and Jeff to get good value.

The C tier Series 4 cards should go to a new tier D for thrash Series 4 only cards. Consider it the same like tier F but for Series 4.

Many people still sleeping on cannonball like most of my best performing decks right now runs cannonball just need the right setup and cannonball wins a lot of games.

This list is a real antique, it is ridiculous that legion and iron lad are in S tier
They are strong cards that can be played in almost any deck - meaning they add extremely high levels of value to your collection even if you're new to series 3-5 and don't have the cards needed for meta decks or synergistic packages.
Legion is also only 3,000 tokens and great in Conquest mode. It's hard to find a better use of 3,000 tokens.
@@docty_snap I have both of them. they are cheap and they are really good but I don't think they are indispensable cards. Legion was really S tier when it first came out but now I think it is lower of S tier. I also think that Galactus is not that far down, he's doing a really good job with Annihilus. But this is your list man, even though most of the cards are in the right spot, some of the cards' locations seemed really ridiculous to me. Still a good list for beginners. Zabu, Thanos, High Evo and Jeff are definitely in the right spot. Even though Thanos is nerfed right now and really needs a lot of cards to play (Mockingbird, Cull Obsidian etc.) he is a Big Bad, tomorrow at the top of the meta and the next day further down :D
Individual opinion is fine but when posting to public its better new players get close to general opinion as possible. Elsa & Shaw are incorrectly ranked. The rest seems spot on.
Where would you rank Elsa & Shaw in terms of the value they provide to someone's collection for the cost of 6,000 tokens (not solely based on their strength in the meta)?
Elsa A, Shaw B. However, honestly, not many cards are worth 6k tokens besides Bigbads. The exception are/were only a few cards: Hope, Jeff, IronLad, RedHulk, Alioth, Zabu, Ravonna, KittyPride, Elsa, Ms Marvel, Annihilus and The LivingTribunal.
These are deck defining cards. Any new cards which have relatively strong metrics and can create a new archetype can/should be considered worth 6K tokens. The alternative is to buy out of passion but that can become expensive.
