I know this is an old video but I’ve seen this from the highway passing through PA. I thought I was imagining things! It’s GORGEOUS! I’m so glad to see someone film it up close& as beautiful as it is, there’s no surprise that it’s private.
@@moljinarAw, dang maybe there’s a second one. It’s like a spot from the highway that’s a beautiful blue color. It’s going to/from upstate NY. It’s super gorgeous.
Also worth mentioning that the Blue Hole is an artesian well and that's why the sediment at the bottom "bubbles". It is also a lot deeper than it looks and is super cold.
@@Jessica-ul6meclearly my point went over your head. The ledges is a drug den full of meth heads and party people. Swimming there is akin to a spring break frst party
I think this is the place I hiked with the Springs Youth Group one year as a kid, If I remember right it was down a trail that was on the Deer Valley YMCA property. There is also a grave sight up on the Mountain on one of the trails just off Mount Davis Road. It is just a few minutes from the tower and Highpoint lake area. I used to live in Springs Pennsylvania as a kid, used to hike the area quite a lot.
Being from Pennsylvania I have to ask, are you sure that’s spring fed and not mine run off? The wildlife and vegetation would say it’s good but I’ve seen very similar in central Pennsylvania around clearfield
It reminds me of all the natural springs in Florida! They also have sand at the bottom with water that bubbles up through it! Didn't know there was anything in PA so blue and beautiful, though! But if it's on private property, then that would be a no go for me! There are many state owned springs you can swim in and explore in the lovely state of Florida, but after this hurricane, sadly, many of them may take months to look like they did before Ian!
Hey! Any idea who owns the land the big spring is on? I have a hikey family and would love to go there bit if it's private i would prefer to have permission from the owner. Thanks for the video!! Definitely subscribing

Can you believe Big Spring is in PA? Did you get in?
I have hiked and camped at this place multiple times since my friend showed me this place 3 years ago
@@hannahbraun1316 its sickkk
Hannah Braun do you know who the owner is or their number?
I’ve been a few times. I don’t like to show many people.

Definitely super cold!
54 degrees to be exact. Same as laural lake and fuller lake here in pa bot spring feed like this
Where is it
Some of the rock formations reminds me of Nelson ledges in ohio. They have a pretty deep quarry you can swim in too. You might want to check it out...
😅Oh yeah go to the ledges with your family 🍄🌀😜 No drugs there or anything lol
You don't have to do drugs and swim in a quarry lol, just go to the state park part then.

AMAZING 😊

There was no mining activity in the immediate area. It’s definitely all natural

I live in PA I'd love to find that place.
Same I like to one day now I’m still young so I can go by myself

Can easily be found google esrth, it’s a long walk, like 2 miles at least from a road.
Well rest in peace 🕊️
Just added this to the list! Amazing
This is on posted ground. Trespassing will be prosecuted. Definitely not open to the public
It is but no one ever seems to mind. However anyone wanting to go there should definitely ask the guy who owns it.
Tressa Grace do you know who the owner is or what their number is?
Ur a dork
The music on this video is so annor no
Can you drink the water?
Sure. You can drink any water.lol
Nice place but I would not want to get snake bit there. I would really be careful.

Do not give the location of this. It is far too special to have it destroyed by fools like so many other places in PA have been.

Why would you go into the water and disturb the natural environment just for a camera shot? That is how places like this get ruined.
