I love how you have a color scheme and you stick to it, everything is so ethereal! I feel you on the itchy stuff, im realizing that I can't handle mohair, it's so itchy for me. this now means I have a lot of sweaters ive made that are hard to wear, and im still on the search for nice soft alternatives (alpaca is my fav so far lol)
Aw, thank you! Yeah, the itchy problem is so real! It’s really interesting how it differs person to person though! As soft and lovely as alpaca is, i find it the most itchy of all! Thanks for watching ☺️
I'm knitting with Noro yarn right now and am not doubling with another yarn. I had to knit a relatively big swatch and take an average because of the different yarn densities.
maybe you could try to block the sleeves of your sweater again and stretch them out as long as you want them? I would try this before doing sweater surgery :)
i’ve actually tried that when i first blocked it! It kinda stretches the neckline (I definitely should’ve knitted them too short but i was impatient back then haha), so unfortunately probably best not to repeat it :/ thank’s for the suggestion though!
Lavender flowers are very purple, I imagine that's where the name comes from? The struggle with color names is real, like why is light pastel green "mint" when the plant is vibrant green? And so on 🤣
That’s a really valid point haha I suppose lavender colour changes though the flowers’ life cycle, but i think i associate „lavender” colour with when the flowers are towards the end of the blooming season and become lighter and greyer! The mint green is very weird indeed haha
