Episode 10 - Part 2: The Branches Road
After lunch we venture further along the old gold workings to Londonderry Terrace. The track through here is definitely more challenging & the pillion gets a little more vocal as limits are tested. We then tracked back across the Skippers Bridge, then take a turn to head further out along the Branches Road. The road narrows & climbs up along the Shotover River before dropping down into the river valley & station country. More epic scenery, waterfalls & water crossings. As with all good adventure roads, the ride out gave a different perspective of the trail & it was hard to turn the camera off. Thanks for joining us on this epic ride. Thanks for watching our travels much appreciated. For intercoms we run the Sena 30K which we find to be great. For sound capture on the video we use the DJI wireless mic system which is fantastic as it allows both sides of the conversation to be recorded to the video and makes editing much easier. As for tyres we run the Motoz Tractionator adventure on the rear and Continental TKC80 on the front. Safe riding. 🤙
