Nice dude teaching us some old school Def Leppard hell yeah nothing wrong with the Van Halen stuff I've always digged it but all the stuff you teach is stuff I grew up listening to and love all of it keep it coming
Thanks Kenneth! I’ve had some requests for Def Lep for quite a while and I love old Def Lep so I figured what they heck. It’s all good stuff man! Glad you liked it. I try to pick stuff that is cool or what I think has interesting things in it. Gotta shake it up a little man! 🙌
I remember my friend in grade 7 showing me this song on his stereo, I was hooked on Def Leppard then. Nice “Satch” Ibanez there, I love the color. He should play my favorite “Satch” song “Flying in a blue dream” on one like that. That song sends shivers through my bones. Definitely my favorite Satriani song ever.
@@Ranch5150SkinWalker I also love “The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing”. I wonder if you would know what Joe used to get that really fat, edgy, crisp tone that he used for the rhythm intro to that song ? I’ve always wanted to find a way to get that tone.
Thanks so much! Glad you like the video. I love this JS. I put some JD pickups in it vs the Ibanez stock ones (which were ok) and it just sings. It’s super comfy to play too.
you just popped up in my search for "guitar" stuff. Glad I found you. Why you don't have 1,0000000,00000,0000,00000,00000 subs is beyond me. Love the guitar building videos as well.
Great tune man, I haven’t thought of this in years. This will be an awesome tune to let folks participate in the vocals. Thanks man! Btw, that “juicy tone” would be perfect for still of the night.
That's a sweet guitar! I just drove my old JS100 700 miles home from storage, it's getting new everything in my wood shop 😁😁 The tab is great, that's the only way I remember any songs lol
It's sometime a bit deceptive on these parts I just admit. Sometimes I take approaches that I think feel more natural? Maybe due to my style that has evolved over the decades. 😁
I like your videos. May I suggest you start them with playing the entire piece you are teaching. It makes a world of difference to the viewer and for rewatching.
Nailed it. The only songs my brain remembers to play are Let it go, High n dry and Me and my wine. This is in there somewhere 😂 Though you have inspired me to take a road I have not traveled in a very long time.
I think you’re correct. That ending lick in the photograph solo sounds like Phil. This lead sounds more like Steve to me, especially the intro. And the rhythm parts. Loved Steve Clark.
Pete Willis actually wrote Stage Fright. That was the song that got him removed from the band. He came in to the studio and was to wasted to play, and was told to go home and sleep it off by Mutt. The guys did not take it to kindly and spoke amongst themselves and we all know the rest. Joe and Steve had Phil replace him. All the songs had been wrote as well. Pete is on all the backing tracks as he wrote other songs on that album also.
@@standingvertical3048 you can really tell. That was the last Def Leppard album to sound like that particular band. When Steve passed away that really modified their sound as well.
Thanks!

Flying in a blue dream is such a fantastic album. Great memories from those days. Cassette and Cd!

@@flashy5150 man, I think he used a rockman and also an exciter pedal. I could be wrong! A lot of it is eq in the mix too.
Killer tutorial and beautiful guitar🎸🎸🤘🏻🤘🏻

Thanks Ben! Hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day lol! I really appreciate your support man. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the nice comment. 😎🤟🏻

Thanks for the comment! Yeh it’s a good one. Fun to play and pretty easy too. Good opportunity to engage a crowd as well. Great intro!
This is badazz Bro! 😎👍 They had some great songs back in the day that still are great to listen to. Love this stuff🍺🎸
Thanks so much! I love old Def Lep! 🤟🏻
Awesome choice

Thank you man! I love the JS100’s man. I’ve had two in my life time and regret getting ridding of them. Sweet guitars man. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the nice lesson. I learned the chorus riff a bit differently. Now I’m not sure which is correct! It’s the timing that is different.

Thanks for this! Do you have a video of your gear setup… pedals/amps? Would appreciate it. Cheers

I have considered that. I kinda like to play the sections all the way through and show the segments one at a time. Hoping that would help. 😎☮️

Such a killer tune. I believe Phil only did the Photograph and Stage fright solos on the record so this song is Steve Clark and Pete Willis

Phil did the solo on this song, foolin, photograph, stage fright, rock rock. Pete played no solos.
@@standingvertical3048 Rick Savage wrote stage fright
any high n dry rockers? The title track especially
Love that album
Nice js Ibanez ‼️🍺🇺🇸
Thanks! The JS models are so sleek and playable. I fell in love with metallic blue with maple neck. 😎🤟🏻
Ok I just isolated the guitar on the chorus riff. With all do respect you’re not playing it quite right. Anyway- new sub here!
Thanks for the support man! 😎🥂
How about some whitesnake
Good suggestion man!
