The last time I was in Lewisburg I visited a coffee shop called the Wild Bean. If memory serves me correctly it is beside the Greenbrier Valley Theater. I've also looked at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
I have been in that area several times in my life. It's very nice scenery even if you are travelling. incredible if you stick around a bit. Population well under 5k and it's a nice clean little city. Do you really want industry there? won't be so clean in 20 years.
@@JohnDoe-xl1ig - Be careful for wishing for any jobs. There are many leftist/Communist companies that would love nothing more than to turn Lewisberg into Austin Texas where you have a major homeless issue and all the drug problems and crime that follow the liberals. Pick and choose your companies wisely!
@@JohnDoe-xl1ig Sounds true, sad situation ! Coal is on the way out. America took all it's wealth and sent it to china and mexico. Not only corporate greed but individual greed ! Ask the average American citizen do you want to pay 99 dollars for a pair of work boots made in china or 200 dollars for ones made in America ? Guess which one they are going to buy ! Same with auto parts. True story, I bought some brake rotors in the 1980s those same rotors are cheaper today because now they are made in China !
We spent 2 weeks vacation in WV last summer. We stayed at an AirBnB in Snowshoe. It had excellent views of the surrounding mountains. We took daily excursions from there exploring the Monogohela National Forest, Pocahontas County. Went to the WV State Fair on Lewisburg. Such a beautiful state. But, driving long distances to get anywhere was nerve wracking especially all the windy and hilly roads. Gas prices what they are now…glad we went last year. I was a bit disappointed with your vid because I know there is much more to see in Lewisburg. We went there twice. Beautiful little city.
@@joeyconservative Is your area poverty stricken? Your post seems to send a message of disgust, am I misinterpreting your post? My area of WV is not poverty stricken. Folks here are low to moderate middle-class. We work hard but we love our state. Do you love your state?
Cannot wait to move close to Lewisburg And travel in this area and shop.
Love West Virginia and Lewisburg looks very nice.
Grew up near their in Marlinton it’s about 45 min. from Lewisburg, that’s where I would do my shopping at, Walmart and etc. I love Lewisburg
I would go to the movie theater in Lewisburg a lot. The pandemic and now high gas prices have put a crimp into that.
Looks like the Benner Pike outside of State College, PA. Found this while researching Appalachia.
Never been, but thank you for watching!
😁💯
Lewisburg was voted the coolest small town USA I think around 2011.

The USA is definitely a pretty place.
5:10 They've got a Bob Evans restaurant! Can't be too bad of a place.

Sorry that I didn’t get more. Lewisburg is definitely a pretty place!
Unfortunately this did not show the heart of Lewisburg. Route 60 runs through the original historic part of town.
I apologize for not showing the other part of town. Thanks for watching though.

I suppose you are an expert on WV? How many counties have you visited in WV to become such an expert?
