Thanks for your up date video, Was waiting to see your progress on the classic Bentley . And I am not disappointed, the old - girl is looking great already. And yes I can understand your reasons to not wish to re-plant the whole vehicle, Always a major undertaking and expensive,. Lucky for myself all my cars have concours paint finishing , but this has come at a very high cost indeed. Enjoying a lovely sunday drive in my 1995 champagne Bentley Brooklands today. And can not wait to see your example back on the road where she belongs also . Happy Motoring..CHEERS.
Hi Al. Loving your content and have been a watcher for quite some time. Mainly for the Bentley and Rolls content. Im considering a 1999 Bentley Arnage 4.4L V8 but it is without keys. Getting a new set from the factory seems not possible since they are no longer available, I'm told. No used sets available too. What options do you think I have if I do buy it?
Hello and thank you for watching. When I bought my 03 T, I was also told that keys are impossible to get but when I called the dealer, they were able to source keys. This would be my first option. In my research, I saw a youtube video of someone making a key and programming it using a generic scanner for an earlier style key. It looked almost identical to a BMW key from the E39 era cars. I can confirm that on the arnage, a generic scanner will program a key as I used my Autel to do so. It won't get past the alarm module which is a separate unit. You can check out my arnage videos for more information. Thank you again and good luck with your buy.
@@aalabbasi thanks Al. I’ve indeed seen your videos so knew you had been through the pain. Thanks for the tips and look forward to the next Bentley instalment. BTW I have an Aston rebuild coming to my channel soon. I bought the car last year and basically doing everything to it 🤦♂️
