Since SDN is run by SRIDEVI NRITHYALAYA TRUST, all the productions of SDN, be it music or dance, become intellectual property of the Trust. Sridevi Nrithyalaya Trust (SDNT) owns all the productions and will not allow anyone to download or use SDN videos/audios, even if it is meant for non-commercial purposes.
With able legal guidance, our team works meticulously in curbing audios/videos of Sridevi Nrithyalaya that have been used in unauthorized ways and uploaded on social media. Though we do not put up copyright declarations in all our videos, we strictly adhere to legal formalities and procedures regarding copyrights.
We work hard and spend a good time and amount of our resources to produce our music and dance videos. They are produced and uploaded on our social platforms solely to take our art to all those rasikas around the globe who are unable to reach us in person to enjoy SDN's art live.
It is not about 'misuse' or 'trying to support' our dance and audio productions by just giving credits. Art is for all, for sure. Our productions uploaded on social media platforms are for the art lovers worldwide to WATCH and ENJOY but definitely not for copying or reproducing without SDNT's authorisation.
SDNT has unanimously arrived at this decision and therefore, SDN or any individual from SDN would not be able to grant anyone permission to reproduce any of our works.
All the productions of Sridevi Nrithyalaya are intellectual properties (Aural & Visual) of SRIDEVI NRITHYALAYA TRUST solely. wow i didn't realise Sanjena akka's iconic Sharada Kouthvam was performed in her Arangetram!!
Sanjena's beauty & skill are magnified 1000 times in context of her obedience and love of the God she serves by her person and bharathanatyam dance skills. EVERY molecule of her.

This beautiful dancer made think about what makes good performance good... maybe, this illusion something comes out of dancer’s body, something is generated out of that moving body... and why that’s possible ? Because a good dancer can be stable so well, as much as one moves so well, namely, having control. Moving and unmoving highlights each other, and you see some thread of energy comes out, and this sense of production gives us bliss.
Oh my god... Fascinated by this... She has managed to change 8 costumes 😶... Just outstanding!!! I like how she does each and every single step with so much of perfection! While doing 'ta Tai Tai ta' ( vishru adavu ) her toe which goes backwards is so much erect and this is commendable! Can't stop myself from watching the video repeatedly! By looking at her I get a lot of inspiration to try to achieve this kind of perfection! Mesmerizing performance!
I have to imagine she is one of the best in the world. Absolutely mesmerizing.

Beautiful! Was it her initiation? What I love about all the SDN students is that they dance out of sheer joy of the dance - the best way to offer their prayers.
