Here is an interesting scene from SDN's Srinivasa Kalyanam...
After cursing Brahma in Sathya Lokam and and Maheswara in Kailasam, Brgu Maharshi reaches Vaikuntam, the abode of Sri Maha Vishnu. Here too, in intimacy with His consort, Sri Maha Lakshmi, Vishnu fails to notice Brgu's arrival. Blinded with seething rage, the Rishi kicks the Lord on His chest.
Knowing Brgu's spite, Maha Vishnu reacts with apologetic love and teaches a moral lesson to the Rishi.
But Maha Lakshmi is offended and annoyed with Brgu's arrogant behavior. Her Lord is shamed by a mere human who kicked Him on His chest, where She resides. Her irritation turns into anger when Her Lord apologizes for the intolerable behaviour of Brgu.
Maha Vishnu tries to pacify Lakshmi, but Her humiliation takes no consolation. She leaves Vaikuntam and reaches Bhoolokam to take up a severe penance.
This brings the Lord of Vaikuntam to earth and thus endows prosperity to mankind.

Sridevi Nrithyalaya, prostrating at the lotus feet of Lord Venkateswara and with prayers to the feet of Mahaguru Vempati Chinna Satyam, has taken up this effort as a "Tapasya" to dedicate this devotional production to all the devotees of the Lord. Srinivasa Kalyanam is SDN's 17th dance drama production for which thorough research and study about the subject has been done...

Bhairavi: her power, the sheer authority she claims even in the divine serenity of Sri Vishnu, or the bravado of Sri Krishna
Harinie: Her pillar-straight stance, dedication to precision, and the beautiful depth of her abhinaya
Sanjena: Her effortless flexibility, sweet devotional abhinaya, and stamina beyond her years
Rajadarshini: Her smile brings character to each dance, and like Bhairavi, she brings power to any of her depictions
Kameswari: Her energy, and ability to exactly mirror another in a duet; intelligence shines in her eyes, and you see it in her mastery of matching her feet to the time of the chimes and drum. She thinks on her feet.
And bravo to all your other dancers, little and grown. They are jewels on any stage. Love from America!

Can i just point out one thing , the nails of the dancer of vishnu just perfectly accentuate each and every movement of the fingers and mudras, the unmatched supreme gaze is also one to note. Love all the way from the bottom of my heart to all the wonderful dancers and the awesome teacher.

Beautiful presentation ! Harinie Jeevitha has really lived the role of Ma Mahalaxmi with reference to the situation portrayed. Her facial expressions, appropriate timely movements, not yielding to the pleadings of Sri Vishnu : adds to the fast moving music indicating the indignity and agitation in her mind due to neglect by the Lord, especially when he honours Bhrigu even after the hurt is caused. Splendid performance!!..Harinie has beautifully brought out the feelings of Mahalakshmi - the anger out of her immense love for the Lord ; the sadness ,disbelief and pain she undergoes as she takes in what Mahavishnu has to say; the undying love which still clouds her (1:52 ...)......i felt each and every emotion along with her .
Bhairavi portrayed the sheer majesty of Srinivasa perfectly .. great job.
