Warrington have not played as well as today for quite a few years. I’ve never seen St Helens make so many embarrassing mistakes. Though don’t forget, you were well in the game for at least an hour. Lomax blaming everyone but himself something he should be questioned on. The young lad Benison, hard luck. I didn’t like the Warrington player giving him grief while he was on the floor for his last mistake. Ps don’t forget it’s only a game and if you don’t know what it’s like to lose you’ll never get the benefit of winning. You’ve won enough since I’ve been alive 🙂 Warrington Supporter.
The most nailed on physical certainty since Keiron Cunningham - Noah Stephens - kicking his heels (or wasting his time at Swinton). Ordinarily you break academy props in slowly. But that's because they generally aren't physically ready. Stephens came out of the womb big enough to compete.
From a wire fan I'm gobsmacked with saints overall performance there my second team so it was tough to watch, saints were terrible in all departments sadly ,I truly expected a good battle but.....saints just didnt turn up
Agree with everything you say. I don't know what Blake was doing, plodding about the pitch looking dazed and confused 😢. At 5 mins in, I thought they all looked pretty clueless😢 😢😢
We were well-being in every area no excuses. Warrington deserve the win. We have no clue in attack and we made too many errors when we carrying the ball.
That was an Everton style capitulation. Attack is getting worse. Dodd to kick. Welsby to try and run round them all like under 9's. Do we actually have tactics? We won't win anything until significant changes are made.
Much vaunted Saints defence exposed today. Our flanks were beaten for pace so often, and but for a few calls, Wire might have had 50 on the board. Waqa is certainly no Hoppa but in mitigation, and not to blame one individual, there were several players who had their worst games in a Saints jersey imo. Even Tommy must have lost yards overall. We have to suck it up but we must get humble again and LEARN!!!
Im afraid they gone down the Kieran Cunningham route yet again, im afraid they have no idea can't put all the blame on wello MacManus as alot to answer for in my opinion.
Technically, Eid al-Fitr finished on Saturday. Those who stretch a point on partying, however, are still whooping it up now. That was Warrington, not Saints, I'm afraid. Take it as compliment that it's several years since I've seen Saints so clueless, outsmarted by a side who were quicker and simply avoided your forward strengths. I doubt Warrington can regularly play that well. I don't pay much attention to statistics, but their error count must have been very low. Equally, I doubt Welsby will be so ineffective in games to come. You could certainly have done with Paasi coming on around 25 minutes. I hope he'll be back on schedule. For consolation, Hull FC on Friday. There's a game to mend what was wrong. Also, you defended better than Catalans did against a less capable side. I've seen only highlights of that so far, but it looks like "this way to the line, lads".
Bad day at the office. Got to give Warrington full credit for the win. Changes obviously need to be made. Warrington have bags of pace and Saints don't; yet Ritson doesn't get a look in. Some of our players are in the twilight of their careers. To stay at the top a degree of ruthlessness is needed, not giving out new deals to players who are on the decline.
We cannot rely on defence when our attack is awful, it’s bound to show cracks as we are seeing. Battered up the middle week by week takes its toll. Say it again no offloads, no dummy runners and devoid of creating space in the halves with no link to the full back. Inviting teams to throw the ball out and run round us is suicidal. This style of play is not worthy of a Saints team. Changes are needed in those key positions.
Saints aren't the team they were last year....and last year they weren't the team they were the year before. Lomax isn't the player he was....are we missing the General. Pissed off.
Worst performance I’ve seen in years. That also includes the 40+ dicking we got off Salford away in 2022. We’re 7th best in attack (in the league) and today’s performance reflected that, if not worse. Shite!!
Give them another chance next week then if no improvement Wellens needs to grow some balls and drop Bennison /Blake /Dodd Start Whitley bench Batchelor And 20mins on 20 mins off with Clarke and Mbye
Things very wrong at the club his lost the players we havent looked right all season lets be honest then we sign Blake OMG no sure what he does but hes in a very difficult posisition Wellens look at Tony Smith cant lose many more mark my words
I did say on here after the pre season defeat to Swinton I'd dispense with the services of Wellens and got dismissed by this channel and others but have seen little to change my mind this season. Can't stand Warrington but they showed us up in every department today and should've won by more. Lomax error pathetic and Bennison is out of his depth. Taxi for Wello.

They looked dangerous every time they had the ball.
Our attack was literally non existent! No clue whatsoever!
In the words of Ron Hoof…that was diabolical!!
As a Wiganer I would sat your biggest problem is missing Roby.

Do NOT give WELLO another contract.
No effective attack and we looked like we where running in porridge compared to them no pace not a good watch today
Wire absolutely pasted them.

Sadly wire were the best team. Really poor today, saints
Never seen Saints play so badly for such a long time.
Benison and Blake should be playing reserve rugby.

Just can't believe how bad we were today
Im afraid they gone down the Kieran Cunningham route yet again, im afraid they have no idea can't put all the blame on wello MacManus as alot to answer for in my opinion.
The attack has been poor for over a year. Jack is wasted at full back. We need to rethink our approach.
Sticking to the "process" is what landed us in this spot. The "process" doesn't work with players who are past their prime.
Wingfield was a big miss too.
Its dross. The players can't put the effort they usually put in with no idea in attack. Things could get worse

We will not score the points we should do without pace and we have very little of it in our backs with the exception of Welsby.
Wire a lot faster team, and have a half back in Williams who ran the show,
The one time we want the mic to fail.... 😂 Absolutely bloody awful game and lots of senior players and staff have BIG questions need to be answered

We need James Roby back Got no leadership on the field

Absolute garbage we got out of the game what we put into it. I'm afraid to say it Warrington deserve that win.
It's not John Bennison, the lad makes mistakes week in, week out.
Give them another chance next week then if no improvement Wellens needs to grow some balls and drop
Bennison /Blake /Dodd
Start Whitley bench Batchelor
And 20mins on 20 mins off with Clarke and Mbye
We did not deserve anything from the game a collective poor performance by the whole team
Things very wrong at the club his lost the players we havent looked right all season lets be honest then we sign Blake OMG no sure what he does but hes in a very difficult posisition Wellens look at Tony Smith cant lose many more mark my words
Not big enough and not fast enough. Plus st helens needs to start employing the best available and not past players.

Played as individuals not as a team no struture no clue worst game ive seen
