I get you... however, I get more emotional when I hear of a human being anonymously helping those less fortunate. Something I wish I could strive for, but somehow I can't. 😢😢 But I see where you're coming from, he's immensely talented.
This guy and his family are all great artists. I think his children also are painters, correct me if I'm wrong. One of the best modern day landscape artists in my humble opinion.
I agree. I'm a retired art teacher who still gives occasional lessons and reference his videos often to students. Viktor has has always been very economical with how he blocks in his painting subjects, but it's how he adjusts his values as he goes along that's his most valuable teaching asset. His eye for colors is amazing for someone who uses acrylics. The paints he uses darken when they dry, so he's had to learn how to adjust and lighten values on the fly to keep his work vibrant and bright. He truly is a modern master, and his videos are a great resource for art students who may be intimidated with painting landscapes.

I found this video 3 days ago.... I've watched this masterclass 7 times now. I'm finding myself in shock every few minutes . Viktors understanding of light , shade and Temperature is something anyone that paints should strive toward. I picked up a brush for the first time in 13 years today because of this video and I have to say that everything I did looks like an underpainting still ... But i managed to chop out some details. Today was inspired. I think this might be my favorite piece of art on the planet right now.
