We love you down south too. The more patriotic a Canadian is,, the more they have grace for other countries. A huge congratulations on your Trump win. Please send some of that Trump Dream Team fairy dust up here, and a few more prayers would help us out too. If we can get Pierre Pollievre in as our conservative leader and get that (sassy boy), Trudeau prancing out of office finally, our country's relations will once again be profitable for both and diplomatic and respectful again. I know Pierre will get on just fine w/ Trump. Had to edit out my too on the nose description of Trudeau, or I'd be getting another day long ban for picking on the powerful. Makes about as much sense of Trudeau or Kamala, and their profoundly shallow ability to toss word salad, blathering on and never getting around to saying anything, or ever answering a direct question. Oh well, way of the west until we take it back again.

When I was a child in Ontario, there was a portrait of the Queen in every school classroom and we sang "God Save the Queen" followed by "O Canada" every morning. The two anthems were also played in movie theatres before the main feature. I was an immigrant, but it was made clear to me that Canada was part of the Commonwealth and that Great Britain was the mother country. The monarch is still Canada's head of state, but you'd never know if you went into a Canadian classroom today.

Amazing interview, thank you for this!
I immigrated to Canada in 2007 from Russia and couldn’t be happier. It was a beautiful country with so much to offer, I was looking forward to a better life for myself and my future children.
Almost every year I visit my home country and it makes me cry how much Russia, especially Moscow where I’m from, has evolved, their education system, healthcare, infrastructure is impeccable. And then I’m returning to my new home, Ottawa, with troubled public transportation system, 10+ hours waiting times in emergency rooms, nightly car thefts in our neighbourhood, school where my kids learn nothing, so we had to hire tutors for their development…
    This is so painful.
If not for the war, we would be going back to Moscow. And when the war is over, a lot of Eastern Europeans will go back to their homelands.
As for immigration, it blows my mind why instead of focusing on quality immigration and bringing highly educated and skilled people who have to go through medical checks and pass language test, Canada is sheltering all kinds of unvetted people who don’t bring their culture with them and are not even planning to assimilate, who barely speak English (or French), who’s plan is to live on welfare 😢

It's not an accident that we all have the same problems, caused by the same malign people. Soon enough, woke DEI Governments and their owners will have nowhere to hide, certainly not behind the law. Crimes against humanity supersede normal law. Organisations like the WEF, UN, EU, WHO, ECHR and all the other nasties, like Blackrock, will answer for those crimes. The life expectancy of US citizens is falling just as the explosion of childhood diseases is soaring and every Western Democracy suddenly has millions of folk available for cheap labour? How convenient! I see Gates is promoting 'healthcare' around Africa at the moment, hope it doesn't have anything to do with pushing vaccines on previously healthy children who are now sick due to the use of drugs that have been outlawed in the US for decades. You morons may run legacy media but in case you haven't noticed............almost nobody is watching. The few that do are wondering why you have started attacking the First Amendment, now sheeple of all ages are asking questions. Every move you make is hammering another nail in your own coffins. Trying to create global food shortages via climate doom mongering, is just one of many ideas dreamed up by these sociopaths. Here's a news flash for all you nutters.............if a cow farts in Holland, the Earth is not going to catch fire! No country on Earth will give you sanctuary from the backlash that is coming, but perhaps one of the Democracies you are busy pulling down will remain strong enough to afford you some protection, the US being the most likely candidate, after Trump's landslide. I hope the backlash isn't against the illegal immigrants who are just pawns, but once all your assets are seized, some portion of those can be set aside to repatriate them and the rest used to compensate the millions of lives you have ruined in the West. DEI Globalist creatures like Starmer, Biden, Bliar, Obama, Macron, Trudeau etc should all be in jail just like Soros, Schwab, Gates...........and all their minions in the judiciary/law 'enforcement'. If you turn on each other , it would save us all a lot of grief. But either way you will answer for your crimes. The CCP must be raging at Davos, they could have had it all, but going after Trump the way they did got many folk asking questions and then instead of backing strong Democratic figures like Gabbard and RFK Junior who could have won the election, they put Kamala up without even having a vote lol!!! We may not be able to arrest the Chinese but they'll get hammered with tariffs and sanctions, unless they give up all the information they have on the traitors of course. Justin's mother was said to have had a physical relationship with said bearded communist dictator, and some 10 months later, Justin was born. Justin bears an eery resemblance to this now-deceased dictator, and if you look at pictures of both them them as children, it would be hard to tell them apart. it's the people who make towns, cities and countries. if you bring in people from India,Pakistan, then you shouldn't be at all surprised that your towns, cities, and country start resembling those countries they came from. some call it cultural enrichment. Some call it a replacement. isn't it a coincidence, though, that all this enrichment is happening everywhere at the same time,America, canada,Europe,Australia. It's almost like its been agreed and co ordinated somewhere, maybe davos?😢😢😢😢😢

Trump didn't say he was "going to invade Canada." He said, if 25% tarrifs were going to ruin Canada, then Canada can become the 51st state. Basically, if you are unable/unwilling to get the border under control, then maybe you don't belong in charge of a country.

The whole "Make Canada the 51st State" dialogue has been misreprested and is a gross deviation from the context of the conversation. The conversation was about the 25% tariff Trump wants to impose on Canada, since Trump feels that the US had lost $800 billion in business over the years and that if Canada couldn't afford the tariff, they should become the 51st state. This was said in a non-serious manner and not to be taken literally. Of course, the so-called media has totally missrepresented this to make headlines. The USA and Canada has had a wonderful and cordial relationship for a long time. There's no need to worry Canada will lose it's sovereignty. This isn't the 1700's anynore. My sincere hope is that Canada comes to its senses and brings in a new PM that will serve her and the Canadian people better than the one they have now. Cheers :)

As an American and Trunp voter, Trump's remark calling Canada 51st state is a serious insult to Canadains. But there is no truth to it being serious. Trust me if Canada had a serious leader that demanded respect Trump would never say it. In other words Trump looks down on Trudeau ...that tells you how far down and low Canada is to the world. And Canada brought this upon itself trying to be so woke and progressive looking down on the US as a racist backward nation.

We, Canadians, who have lived for 9 years under Trudeaus socialist regime, who can't afford to buy groceries, or who have to routinely miss meals, who are encouraged to kill ourselves to combat depression, who must live in our cars because of outrageous inflation.. haven't done anything to the US. We are worried about us, not you. You are fine.

American here, most people with a brain knows Trump is joking, and as much as we too love our Canadian neighbors, we’re not that interested in having Canada as our 51st state. We’re more focused on trying to manage what we do have to be effective first, and adding Canada would just be too overwhelming, even with the resources. Most Americans rather have a neighbor we can rely on that is an actual ally and someone who going to backstab us. We also have to hold ourselves back because of this tricky situation of how our influence negatively affects Canadian’s identity. Generally Americans want everyone to love their sovereign country, and being neighbors with Canada most Americans understand that there is a resentment that a good number of Canadians have against us (being the world’s superpower doesn’t help one bit) most Americans are giving Canadians space till Canadians reach out to us.
That said though, *IF* Canada does become a state or a few, does this mean we could finally have Jordan Peterson as our president?

Then the charismatic boy with his father's name, and good looks, enamored the naive younger generation with a promise to legalize pot. Now that generation is paying the price.
