@airastana my experience on A321LR biz and my friend experience on A321LR economy in flight product are great, but it would be better if the ground experience are as great as in flight experience. Wonder will it be new business lounge when Almaty new international terminal open in Q2 this year?

We terminated our cooperation with the business lounge in Almaty in October 2015 due to the fact that the level of services offered in this lounge did not meet the standards of the airline. At the moment, we offer our passengers only the opportunity to stay in the departures hall. We understand your dissatisfaction, but at the moment, unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to offer a worthy alternative in the form of a business lounge at the airport in Almaty. We will inform you if there is news about the resumption of cooperation with buisness lounge in Almaty International Airport.
@@chungchoso6490 Hello. Yes, the airline, together with the airport, is working on issues of improving service. It is planned to open a new terminal in 2024, which will significantly improve the quality of ground services at the airport.
I had a similar, good experience from this flight but the final impression of Air Astana was not great because of poor connection in Atyrau (further to Astana). Firstly, crew on the flight from Amsterdam didn’t provide any information about the connection, even though our arrival was delayed by 1h. Then at the passport check I was lucky to meet someone local who found an airport worker who made our passport check quicker. Then we had to check in again for the new flight, and the queue system was super messy, so we had to skip most of the queue to make it in time. So no proactive support from anyone, and lack of organisation in an airport with 4 gates. If there’s no direct flight Amsterdam- Astana, I’d recommend trying any other option, unless you’re feeling adventurous.
I absolutely believe it. I suspect all those glowing reviews have been bought by air astana. I fly with then often, and they are average to mediocre. Not great, but not terrible. To claim it's the best economy class in a world where JAL, ANA, KAL, SIA, Qatar ply the skies, is ridiculous.
