  • How to make a Chair for all my DIY peeps. A simple Dining or Office Chair doesn't need to be super complicated. It all boils down to a seat, back and 4 legs. Start simple and expand your design as you get more comfortable. You can use dowels, mortise and tenon or Festool Domino joinery. Spoiler alert: Festool Domino is just a router that has a few specialty applications.

You've got a small fortune in that mobile one oil.

I buy a case of 5qt so it keeps the price down about $22 a jug 😀

Nice job. Loved the commentary and the paint looks great. I don't know about the color but it looks like it was applied well.

Very cool. For the back rest vertical slats, curious if you just used the extra loose setting and fit to that, or if you used over-lapping mortises? Either way, the result is great.

Thank you! I believe it was the 2 or 3 setting, but it’s been a while, it was a single plunge though I do remember that.

I've always wanted to try out that Izzy Swan support! How do you like it?

It’s really nice! It doesn’t support a lot of weight, but it doesn’t need to for most jigs. I’m actually going to edit the footage on it and post a review when I can.
