And i have nothing but respect for the American 🇺🇸 “Blue Angels” 🤙 & every time i hear the name “Thunderbirds” i can’t help but chuckle because for a certain age group there use to be this 1960’s & 1970’s TV show called “THUNDERBIRDS” which was a kids tv program but not cartoons but “puppets” on strings which is super hard to do plus all the detail that went into each puppet & all the scenery back ground etc that went into creating that kids tv program & the famous saying for the start of the show… “THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO”!!! LOL!! I don’t think i’ve ever seen the real “Thunderbirds” though in which i’ll check out after this magical masterpiece of aviation greatness & to my American🇺🇸 friends please check out the Canadian “Snowbirds” 🤙

Proud of you too. I was a C141 mechanic for USAF 1979 to 84… also trained to fly on Cessna 150. Ladies flew in WWll also. My cousin is retired pilot from United Airlines. She began around 1980.
@saedrix9807 calm down white Knight. We live in the time of gender and representation quota. There are thousands of Navy F18 pilots. More men than women. So in terms of probability she already loses out. She may be truly good, but probability states that there is a high likelihood of other men being on par or better than her. It is simple math. Doesn't help her case much with the woke era we live in. Bring this back 20 years ago, I'd agree that it was purely based on her skills. Now, nah! Facts hurt, so just take a seat.

Thank you SpencerHughes! This is, without a doubt, the best video of the Blue Angels low show that I've EVER seen! Over the past 40 years of going to the shows, I've gotten some good photographs, some of which I even got paid real money for, but making good video has been a challenge. The best show I was ever at was the Reading, PA air show in the late 1980's, just a few years after they started using the F/A-18. I had to work on Saturday, but was lucky enough to be stuck in a traffic jam just off the end of the runway. While I was sitting there, all six planes did a formation pass at an elevation about 50 ft then all six planes with 12 afterburners pointed right at me pulled up in a Max climb. The thunderous roar of those powerful engines shook the ground and the cars, and sent chills up your spine. Even people sitting in their cars in the traffic jam gave them a round of applause!
I smiled the whole time at the end. To me these guys and gals are a true inspiration and they are the real hero’s and deserve much more recognition than the Hollywood celebs.
Oh boy ! Do not compare them to the Hollywood. Most actors and actresses sold their souls to China for dirty money. Hollywood now is all filled with trash (a lot of immoral people and business are in it).
Yes a number of years back when they had several crashes. That hurt , the crashs that happened. They kept at it and cleared up the problems. Sure is fine to see them performing.
Very happy to be alive to see Amanda in #3! First saw the Blue's in person in 1972 at Willow Run and that show made me decide to have an Aviation Career. Retired at Willow Run in 2015 when we hosted the Blue's on my final year!!

Love the Blue Angels. They came to our little town, Racine, WI many years ago. I was working in a 4 story building on the lakefront when they had practice. One jet, curved around our bldg and I could see pilots helmet. So close and the sound takes your breath away.
They are a sight to see!! I’ve been watching them since 1983!!! Saw them this year in VB❤ From a family of aviators they bring me a lot of joy to watch!!

When seeing their show in person, my favorite moment is when you have lost track of two planes usually flying separate from the formation of four - and one suddenly roars over your head from behind low and perpendicular to the flight line. Obviously, they have permission to fly over the crowd that others don't have. It is quite a visceral feeling, and you can't really experience it watching a video.
I do not get impressed easily, however the choreography from the start with the walk through the end truly amazed me. I salute these flawless pilots! Outstanding performance 🙏👍

Hey Blue Angels pilots and crew, thank you for your service from a US Army veteran who saw you, minus Lt. Amanda Lee, at NAS Kingsville in Texas in April 2022.
I attend their Homecoming every year. But 2024 was truly epic. Our finest the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels performing together I will never forget. I haven't had a signed poster since 2005 and I was hoping to get one of both teams. The crowd made it so hard to get around and when we did I never saw a vendor for the posters. So so proud of our men and women.
GO NAVY! I love how the Navy was the very first service group to allow females to fly fighter jets! My Uncle was a Pearl Harbor Survivor on an ammunition ship, my father was a former US Naval officer and scientist. Dad helped to build the very first Atomic reactors for submarines Admiral Rickover's program/ Westinghouse Corporation, and I was a US Navy Nurse Corps scholarship student in college! 🥰🤗🥰⚓⛵⚓

Actually, both teams will performing along side one another in just a few weeks there in California.
you will be suprised how many times this actually happens. growing up as an air force brat. they usually preform a ton of shows together

I attend their Homecoming every year. But 2024 was truly epic. Our finest the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels performing together I will never forget. I haven't had a signed poster since 2005 and I was hoping to get one of both teams. The crowd made it so hard to get around and when we did I never saw a vendor for the posters. So so proud of our men and women.
GO NAVY! I love how the Navy was the very first service group to allow females to fly fighter jets! My Uncle was a Pearl Harbor Survivor on an ammunition ship, my father was a former US Naval officer and scientist. Dad helped to build the very first Atomic reactors for submarines Admiral Rickover's program/ Westinghouse Corporation, and I was a US Navy Nurse Corps scholarship student in college! 🥰🤗🥰⚓⛵⚓
After my mom died in 1973, my dad took us to every air show available. We seen the Canadian showbirds, thunderbirds and the Blue angels 🥰🥰🥰

I just saw a video of Blue Angels & Thunderbirds as a team. They were great together as much as they act or seem like rivals .
And it hasn't changed from the 80s and I love it you'll still take the time to bring the kids in and that's important I love watching the Angels fly.
Thanks for this great video. My son flies the F 18 now, and his EXO used to be Armadas, who is now the commander of the Blue Angels and flies plane number one.

Thank you for sharing, Spencer. When you are there, the best moments are when they turn their backs to the crowd and hit the after burners. So incredible. Well, also the stunts when you think they will crash head on !! And when then the 5 & 6 sneak up on everyone from behind!!! I missed our air show this year.
