Year 8 and making $86k (90 with stipends). I have a M.Ed + 15 tho too. Im a believer that a person could be working their dream job with amazing pay and still be miserable. Money really isnt everything. It's mindset!

I made 23K (Yup!) working at a Catholic school wirh no air conditioning, at times no heat, behavior problems unaddressed, most kids under grade level, sometimes by years. Walked out last year after being abused by a crazy parent of a badly behaved, disrespectful bully. They’re hiring right now if anyone is interested, lol.

It’s not taught in school because gatekeepers. Some of y’all have the “personality” for this but let’s be real on WHY they don’t teach it.

Yes the opportunity was there but deeper reasons as well.
