      Hey! Thanks for the comment! Good luck with the build! The old link to the plans doesn't work any longer, so hopefully I describe it well enough in the video - the build is pretty easy overall, and if you're looking for a good pocket hole jig definitely check out Massca.

    Hi, great video! I'm building this using the same plan. Did you change the dimension of the frame at all? Can you please tell me how big this is. You're a big guy, an I'm 5 feet so I can't get the idea of how big it really is. I'm building it for my 3 yo.

    • @debil718
      @debil718 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it's about 3.5 x 6feet, is that about right?

    • @TheToughGuysTV
      @TheToughGuysTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Apologies for the delayed response. This is a LARGE playhouse for sure. My 8 yr old is big for his age, and can stand fully inside this thing. It's about 5-1/2 ft tall on the front side.

    • @debil718
      @debil718 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheToughGuysTV I built it 3 sided and anchor them to the walls. It's inside though and my son loved it. Thanks for the heads up on the wrong measurements and vagueness of the plans!

    • @TheToughGuysTV
      @TheToughGuysTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for reaching out!! I believe at the time we ended up calculating around $400 all in, including the shingles for the roof. With that said, lumber pricing has been pure insanity so it may be more now for sure and also depending on where you are geographically.

    • @TheToughGuysTV
      @TheToughGuysTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For the duration, it took me about 4 days working on it alone in my spare time. If you had help, you could build it over a weekend no doubt.

      I have tried reaching out to Home Depot for assistance but unfortunately their response was that they have no idea where to find the plans to send. I’ve had a few people reach out, wish I had a better answer. Hopefully the video may help enough if you attempt the build! Thanks for reaching out.

      Hey! Apologies for the delay, I had been trying to find if I had it written down somewhere. I believe all in it was about $300 worth of wood / paint / nails / roofing / etc. BUT that was also a few years ago, so maybe budget $400 now? I do think that Home Depot took the plans down, so unfortunately I have no way to share them but hopefully I show enough in the video to help you out if you try the build. Thanks for watching!

      In current market pricing I couldn’t tell you, everything is so expensive, but if I remember correctly we had about $250 worth of materials. I may say in the video somewhere along the line, but best to price it all out now for sure. Lumber is still very expensive
