That is a nice car and it is tempting. With the history behind it, the options and that it seems to only have 14k miles, I'd say that price is fair. If you decide to hang onto it and still have it in a year or so, I might be in a position to grab it.

I have a 1950 Deluxe 4 door with the power glide. People keep telling me I have 216 instead of the 235. But I'm pretty sure I have a 235. They say the valve cover gives it away but I read where some 235's have the 2 post valve cover like the one you got. I have the same one too.

Yes. You have a 235. They look the same as the 216 but the block on the 235 is taller. The valve cover is the same for both.

I thought the 235 engine has the valve cover bolts on the edge and not on top center. I’ve had a few cars with a 235 . I could wrong?
