It has come to my attention that there are like no lunatic 1cc's of this game on youtube, so let me put at least one up.
Chances are that if you know the Touhou games, you know about this game. It's immensly popular among fangames and some even consider it an official Touhou game.

That Last Spells Run was simply insane, congratulations.
And that was an amazing fail death at the end, thankfully there's was no real need to end that alive I guess.
This is what I think ZUN's last Touhou game would look like.
I agree entirely, if it were that there wasn't a canon backstory. In all honesty, I like this one better.
***** This game's story ruins everything good about Touhou though, Touhou is carefree and nonsensical, CtC makes Touhou have a dark depressing story which is the opposite of what Touhou actually is. I don't think Zun would ever do something like this, he'd probably piss off a lot of people with an ending like this.
minecraftdarkveil It depends on taste . I just like really good stories, and that's what this game brought me.
It's not like it is canon in the first place, so Gensokyo will stay a happy place, I'm sure.

@wishmakers If you run out of time against Reimu, you get the bad ending. Defeating Reimu but failing her last spell rush gives you a normal ending. Capturing all of her last spells gives you the good ending.

Do you need the good ending to get Extra? I don't have it after beating two scenarios and I'm confused.
@wishmakers Also, Much like in imperishable Night, you get Hakurei points by grazing. However, the grazing must be done unfocused until you have a full hakurei bar, at which case grazing focused also gives hakurei points, and unfocused gives far more. Also, by pressing c, you can fire a hakurei orb in a direction, and pressing c again detonates it, clearing an arbitrary distance of the screen, it's like a last ditch measure, but it doesn't cost a bomb or cause a spell failure.
I think if you run out of time, you get a normal or bad ending. Not quite sure. You get time like in Imperishable Night by doing well in the stages.
U get a bad end if time runs out basically marisa wakes up and thinks it was all a dream

@OyVeey Of course you can do them in practice mode. Hell, you can even do them in spellcard practice. I was more commentating about the fact that it's a hit or miss scenario to do well at the last spells.
Whos the hardest boss in this game besides phantasm reimu? And who is the hardest overall in your opinion? Great job, sorry about the miko spell.... at least you tried your hardest or carelessly in this vid. Right?
Whoof, might be a bit of a late reply to this video, but regarding the Shiki-type spell, if you've played PoFV, you'd know that's based off the way bullets are cleared by casting your spells.

Worst death ever on Visionary Miko, there. Amazing job on the Last Spells, BTW. You have to play a full run of the game to get a chance at them? You can't just beat them in a practice run for Stage 6?

Interesting final boss. The only qualm I had toward this game, though, was making Flandre the Stage 1 Mid-Boss and Remilia a Stage 2 Boss. I mean, really? That's just insulting.
thats because of the story, which is of Gensokyo ceasing to exist because reimu died, which those two wouldn't be a main player in knowing what thatwould mean for everything
Jasper Lee Based on their reputation, it's still an insult. I guess what I'm getting at is that it would have been better to NOT have had them being in the game than having them there with terrible placement.
well, marisa needed to visit Patchouli, so an encounter with them or some other inhabitant of the mansion would be inevitable
Jasper Lee True. But that's what Cirno and Meiling are for. You don't take the two star roles of the game and disgrace them by placing them so low unless the rest of the cast are of even higher importance.
You know who else was a stage one boss in an OFFICIAL Touhou game? Yuyuko. I think that goes to show that what stage level the character is does not equal to how high of a power level they have.

In short, Reimu goes missing and Gensokyo starts falling apart without her. The end is pretty depressing.
