Floods in Kruger National Park - 12 Feb 2023

Filmed before all the roads were closed. At the time of filming, very few roads were open. Note the rapid rise in the Sabie River over a few hours.

Hope the animals cope well, I’m sure they do since this isn’t the first flood here. The humans have a choice to be here, it’s not their habitat.

Are there any way to find out if the animals at the river banks fenced out from walking on dry land is safe? I saw a video clip on SA today where animals were looking to get out of the water but all you can see is fences keeping them out.

I don't think that was in the Kruger National Park, but a private reserve.

Ahh the bushveld , so beautiful. South Africa's jewel .Im just looking for the hippo's, lol, Bet they just loving all this glorious downpouring of water,dont think the water Buffalo are complaining either.
