I had trouble communicating my feelings with a person that I loved and I sent them this song because it reminded me of how it was difficult to communicate things to each other but how much I cared about them and how they made me a better person. And they understood, I am grateful for Daughtry, I love listening to the band's music and listening to this song reminds me that there is hope and that sometimes a person comes into your life who changes you for the better and no words can communicate how much you care about them. 2018 people! I remember when I first heard this song. I was driving home, late at night, probably from a party, and this song so personified the couple in the historical fiction novel I was writing at the time. It was amazing! I could see the video showing things like when they met, breakups, and the struggle to be together w/ being an interracial couple in the 19th century. All of this was framed by this ballroom scene that happens in the middle of the book, where the couple dances together, Different parts of the song spoke to so many different parts of their relationship/journey that it came together as if it was made for the story. 2018 people! I remember when I first heard this song. I was driving home, late at night, probably from a party, and this song so personified the couple in the historical fiction novel I was writing at the time. It was amazing! I could see the video showing things like when they met, breakups, and the struggle to be together w/ being an interracial couple in the 19th century. All of this was framed by this ballroom scene that happens in the middle of the book, where the couple dances together, Different parts of the song spoke to so many different parts of their relationship/journey that it came together as if it was made for the story. I had been watching a lot of TH-cam vids of other movies and TV shows that I was actually upset that this song with my characters could only exist in my head. I literally thought, I hope I get published and this gets made into a movie…just so I can do this video. Lol.
