Its like Mitsubishi is the older sibling and Nissan is the younger one getting hand-me-down old parts from Mitsubishi, while Mitsubishi gets to have its own shiny new parts. Not sure if this will actually sell knowing that it shares the outgoing Expander's interior, exterior, parts and features. People looking for mpv's will definitely consider the new Expander over this Livina.
As badge sharing goes this is not the best example. Nissan really dropped the ball on this, they made an MPV that tried too hard not to compete with the vehicle its based on. Pre-facelift chassis, no cruise, its like they really wanted to cripple it. They should take a page out of Suzuki and Toyotas playbook, they share models both ways and they even have the same models competing against each other, how they bring customers to their respective camps despite that is difference in pricing, warranty, service plan and styling. Not on the major features.
sadly i already saw one of these on the roads..hopefully no body gets victimized by these cars anymore..i call it victimized because they really did make it more expensive by selling a 2017-2018 model to a 2023 date and they're asking for the 2023 price..i dont know why people still consider it a part of the competition..
@@carlolee8791 i think victimization is a bit on the malicious side which i dont think was the intention. I blame Nissan for being lazy, but ultimately people make their own choices, therefore if you know someone looking for a vehicle in this class, help them out, objectively and not being forceful with it. If after looking at all the other options and they still choose this, if it makes them happy, more power to them. Each one teaches one.
