Yeah, same here. I would happily buy from someone who makes custom window packages for the new Joe figs. Poor excuse for environment. How about stop making figures nobody want and use the plastics for the Joe packages. LOL.

The ol Sarge made his presence known. I loved him. I got to watch him wrestle when I was a small kid. When he came out I got so excited I threw my drink all over the guy in from of us. He didn't mind lol! He said, "he's a happy kid" lol!
I like this new G.I. Joe Classified Sgt. Slaughter action figure. I hope that Hasbro pays for the rights to do a new The Fridge action figure.
Sgt Slaughter was always my favorite wrestler. Great seeing him in one of my favorite cartoons.
Just found this figure for $13 at Ollie's, I was very pleased.
That's what I had as my first GI Joe with a vehicle. Sarge with his warthog. I loved it!
Sarge's size when I got him was almost a shock. He's just a massive dude, especially standing next to Duke and some of the other figures! I really like the figure and the accessories they gave him. It's so funny that you mentioned the traps, because that was one of the first things I noticed!

He used to be the spokesperson for the toys and would do the live action commercials. That is why I am thinking they added the mini figure. Thank you for the review I love your content.
This figure rocks, so happy with this one and glad I went with BBTS since Pulse had still not shipped theirs. Also, man now I’m thinking I should sell all my in box Joes and just be an out of box collector for all the figures I’m buying. Joe was the last line of being a double up one in the box, one out of the box (at least) way of collecting, but costs and this shift to plastic free packaging has me really evaluating that strategy. Might be time to follow suit.
Just got mine in from GameStop. It is probably the best Joe team fig there is. His accessories are everything you would want. The price is a little steep but he’s just loaded with gear and great sculpt. Much better value than Kamakura

The AK-47 he comes with is a throwback to the comic. They show you that in one of the pictures on the box. The mini-figure is a throwback to the commercial for the toy when it originally released. He is large in comparison, but that is by design. He's "larger than life." :) Hasbro was really trying to hit every nostalgic button that was possible. The only thing they missed was his vehicle. If they ever decide to put that out, it will sell well; hell, at this point, any vehicle for Classified will sell well ;).
His baton is called a swagger stick. Its a military accessory for high ranking soldiers.
Been in the Army for 20 years, currently a Chief Warrant Officer 4. I’ve never seen anyone walk around with a stick like that 🤣 I think Patton had one in the 40s
I definitely want this one because its the classic look but I do like the way the Valaverse Slaughter scales with the Joes. I apparently missed this one on BBTS but I have mine preordered through Hasbro Pulse so we'll see if I can pick him up before that hits. I'd say for me that I knew Sgt. Slaughter from GI Joe before I knew he was a wrestler. So when I started watching wrestling a few years later, I was stoked to see him.
Two thoughts here 1. Seems wrestling promotions missed a fun opportunity not having a heel come after him claiming to be part of Cobra. 2. I hope this clears the way for maybe a Roddy Piper in Grenadiers colors

Picked one of these up at Ollie's today for $12.00 was really surprised to find one they had probably 30 of them
I have this on preorder. I had to stop collecting JOE but I'm still getting Sarge. And I'm getting itchy to get back into the JOE line. Love army builders. But this is a great looking figure. Don't see anything wrong with it. I just find Sarge so toyetic now. Love the Ultimate Edition, got the 2nd Valaverse and really like it, and this is a must have.

Hey Kyle, I was waiting for this video on the Sgt. I received mine 4 days ago and I'm excited. I have Barbecue, BATS soldier and Spirit. I have most of my original small joes, including the Sgt., but, I find these larger versions well made and I like them a lot. Next for me will be Croc master with Fiona. Awesome review! You can definitely not have enough Sgt. Slaughters in your collection is what I say. I prefer the Hasbro version of Slaughter as the two Action Force I have are just too small and don't really feel like having a true Sgt. Slaughter, I prefer my figures to scale better and since the Sarge was a big guy of course he should stand out amongst the other Joes. This figure looks amazing in my collection and I cannot wait for Serpentor to get delivered so I can place them next to each other. I agree with your mention of them releasing the Sarge with his green shirt wit U.S.A. on it and include the Triple T as a convention exclusive, that is the version I am more excited to get. I will most likely just get the Mad Marauders version just to complete the sub-group.
I just found out Sgt. Slaughter is going to be at the comic convention in Cedar Rapids on February 5th. Might see if I can get him to sign my Classified figure.

KYLE, one of these days you ought to take a spare Sarge from your collection and customize it into a blond, beautiful BOB REMUS figurine. I'd bet it'd be one of a kind! Then show it to the real-life Sarge the next time you meet him in person. I'd be curious to know if he'd even recognize himself in that never-before-seen plastic form. Considering he blanked on Nemesis Enforcer, though . . . probably not.

It’s a flashlight that mounts on the side. Not a scope
The rifle is reuse from the Cobra Officer, that part removes so it can fit in the sheath the officer has. I believe before Valaverse figures only the 25th SDDC figure came with a firearm.
And I guess the minifigure is a nod to all the toy commercials he did, especially his mailaway figure.
I like srgt slaughter when he was wrestling in mid atlantic championship wrestling in 81.wwf not so much .love him in gi joe wouldn't be the same without him

Sgt. Slaughter looks great. My only gripe is Sgt. doesn't have a salute hand. In the cartoon he'd salute superior officers. And in wrestling saluting is part of his gimmick. Wether sgt. is a Heel or Babyface. I'm waiting for super 7 g.i joe figures.

A lot of times fan channel exclusives do end up at Gamestop stores. He may show up there at some point.
Hasbro had the contract with Sarge first. They just couldn’t say anything about it. But Valaverse released their figure first. I don’t think Bobby knew about the dual contracts. sarge has his own rights and sell them to who ever he wants for the length of time he wants.
Where did you hear this from? Pretty sure if Hasbro had the contract first valaverse would never be in the picture. Last summer sarge announced he signed with Hasbro that was well after valaverse figs

LOL they took away the plastic bubbles to maximize profits in the first place. They wouldn't give any back that's for sure. They didn't get rid of the windows to save the environment.

How do you feel know that they went back to the plastic packaging? Do you think Super 7 is going to be worth it with the O-Ring line after they have clearly been dropping the ball like the mothership? I love O-rings more than anything else, but if they end up being like the ones that came with the Haslab Skystriker I am just going to stick with the Plastic Packaging GI Joe Classified ;)
