  • Amemiya (the #1 ranked player) who she mentions mid-match was in her stream chat watching, too. She didn't notice until a little bit after where this clip ends when her chat pointed it out, though.

She's battling against 2nd worldwide while the 1st worldwide is watching her battle, and both without her knowing. You can't be more shonen's main anime character than this.

A bit disingenuous to Roy and pro’s in general. If shev was pulling punches and treating it more as a sparring match than actual fight then sure. Not to say she doesn’t play very well for her level of commitment, but there’s obvious distinction between a pro and really good casual. You see this in just about every game or sport. You can compete against a pro as an amateur, and maybe win 1/10, but to the pro, it’s a completely different mindset than playing in a championship or tournament. You quickly realize that pro’s have knowledge and instincts that one cannot achieve without extensive vetting of skills while keeping on top of the meta.

nope roy actually at a disadvantage since she's the only player in her team, with a 100% garbage advantage against roy was i belive only 50%.
with her keep clearing lines literally is giving roy ammo to stack up, that's why once he stabilize in the end game he can combo his way through and drop a huge stack on suisei which gives her no room to counter it.
and from the mini screen roy seems to be using one of the most effective strat in tetris 99 which is the 4 wide strat which allows him to keep his combo up
