    Erik here, across the pond and way across the States in Seattle. I have been rolling my pants for years, as I often have a mix of athletic clothes and dress clothes. I pack my athletic clothes around my suit(s) to prevent the suit from dancing around in there. Your tip on the jacket helps tremendously, as despite being in my late-50s, I've never been able to quite solve those trouble spots where I have to resort to a steam iron later! For dress shirts, I've tried all sorts of things.

    Thank you for the video. As a flight attendant, I always stow my jackets like this and they always look good.

    I can verify the use of plastic bags for reducing wrinkling. If your shirts came packed in a plastic bag, keep the bag and put your folded shirts in it when traveling as it also works well. Sometimes with pants, I will fold them in half, put the waistband section flat in the suitcase, then let the pant leg extend out of the other end of the suitcase. Then put other items into the suitcase or carry on and then fold the pant leg back over the other items. This creates a curve in the pant leg, reducing wrinkling and crease formation.

    Hi Jeremy👋🏻
    Nice video; helpful tho I’d add that I’ve found it extra helpful to encase the flat inverted jacket ( or as is) in the DC plastic sheath before folding. Insert a sheet of tissue paper before folding trousers and encasing in another plastic bag as well…or roll as you’ve done with your chinos. Xx

    I roll my suit trousers like you rolled your chinos when packing for a business trip. I usually pack 2 suits for business trips and try to maximise the space in my luggage. I like your use of the dry cleaner bag. Will borrow your suggestion for my next trip.

    Hello again,
    I have a couple of questions.
    Do you have any videos on fine linen suits?
    How do you feel about Seersucker suits?

    • @rhodeswood5513
      @rhodeswood5513  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello again, I don’t have any videos in linen suits, they’re lovely but in the UK there are maybe only a few weeks of the year when they can be worn. I like plain seersucker suits.. but I don’t own one🤝

    Do you have to put the suit in the bottom? What if you are bringing shoes?

    • @rhodeswood5513
      @rhodeswood5513  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It all depends on the case . Generally I would put shoes in the lower base of a case
      My case has a zipped section on the other side that keeps things separate . Just don’t overfill the case… that’s like pressing creases in🤝🤝
