    It's a good job, but it seems like such a shame that you didn't hide/chase in the boiler cable and piping. Also, a cabinet would hide that boiler nicely.

    Doing a bathroom refurb and not hiding a cable in the wall for the boiler? Whats the point?

    • @Dazzletoad
      @Dazzletoad 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They might be planning on having it out to be moved elsewhere. I think surface cabling would make that a much easier process.
      Although if it is to remain in the bathroom, you have a point 😆

    • @UseitLoseit
      @UseitLoseit 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Dazzletoad True, they might be moving it elsewhere, but then use new cable. Hide the cable, then if you move it elsewhere, which I doubt, just use new cable?

      When a refurb like that you hid all pips and cable,
      “Titles long” put them across the wall it makes the bathroom look longer and you would have your bath tap in the middle of the title
      It looks a total mess

      no tanking around the bath .. nay as well left it as was

    • @UseitLoseit
      @UseitLoseit 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Pedro.Chapps Tanking? It's not underground, it's a bath, on the 1st floor probably. It holds water, then it's drained down the plughole, which runs down the pipe into the sewer. It's not a submersible item, it doesn't suffer from groundwater..

    I done this but decided to rip the plaster board walls out and re route the piping for my radiator so then it's hidden. Took longer but glad I done it now. Nice bathroom though impressive for 2 weeks!

    • @attilasom2012
      @attilasom2012  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks mate. :-) Yes it is pvc. That was literally a cheap and quick way to cover that “beautiful popcorn ceiling” what we had before and also helps to stay away from mould and condensation. It looks very clean. We are very happy with it.

      :-) Well the company who has installed the gas boiler British Gas the biggest gas supplier in United Kingdom. That happened 3 years ago. Starting tiling from the middle of the wall assuring the tiles to be in level horizontally and vertically as well. Also with precise measurements this way never end up with small cuts on the edges. Aesthetically will be more pleasing. The wooden pieces for the levelling. ...... It's called waterproof plastic cladding. U can buy anywhere in UK (B&Q, Wickes, Screwfix) Cladding is very good in bathroom ( help to reduce condensation ,mould because it is warm.
