Bathroom converted to a shower room with vanity bathroom storage
A bathroom converted to a shower room, leaving a larger floor space area while fitting bathroom storage.
The shower is an quadrant shower 100cm x 80cm. The bathroom storage was created by fitting a combined vanity basin with toilet and cupboard unit.
All water feed pipes and waste pipes are hidden under tiled enclosed areas.

A very nice installation however one big issue I see with this is the mirror is offset to the left from the basin!
The mirror is offset as there is a window above the basin. The window could not be moved. The mirror could not be fitted directly above the basin. The basin could not be fitted to the left of the window, as the toilet would of been moved to the right and taken floor space into the shower area (not enough floor space).
Small bathrooms, difficult to impossible to fit things where one would rather them.

what if you tile the floor at the end will that be ok or is it best to tile it 1st

No mirror over the basin?
The window is above the basin so there it is not possible to fit a mirror to the wall above the basin

I prefer having a L shaped bath in there this way u get best of both, a bath and a shower.
@@sukhjitsingh6288 but you have to step into a bath, age can make it more difficult to clumb into a bath, that is why people choose a lower fitted shower tray. I guess it is a different solution for different people.

How'd you tile on a wooden floor as it flexes?
Hi Robert. Fristly you have to strengthen the floor, this can be achieved by using two methods. The first 12mm marina ply screwd don at every 10cm or 6mm Pre Primed Tile Backer. Then flexible tile adhesive is used.
Porcelain tiles are normally a hard tile, and with the correct foundation in small bathrooms we do not have tiles or grout that cracks.
