Your investment book summaries are the best on TH-cam by far!
It's only a matter of time before the compound effect starts working in full force for you and your TH-cam channel!

PS: You should consider a partnership with Blinkist, seing how your content has really nice overlap, but imo you do it better than them :)

DICIPLINE is eventually „just“ self love. Forgive yourself if you’re not always being CONSISTENT (talking to oneself 😉) Your work sure is inspiring to get back on track! 💪🏻

Glad to see you back! Your investing book summaries have been very fundamental and made me pursue reading a couple of books myself, front to back. I also appreciated how you seemed to integrate more IRL stuff into your video, which felt like you were kicking some things into gear in your life, like a mini behind the scenes 😂 Seems like you're doing well!

The concept of taking 100% responsibility is pretty outdated and can be easily disproved and as a sidenote it is already disproved later on in the video at 12:31.
Skipping 240kcal each day equals to 12.5kg fat loss in a year. One kg of body fat has approximately 7,000kcal.
But much more important, finally a new video. Thanks a lot. 👍

Interesting and good summary. Thank you! As for the book, it's obvious that achieving long term/abstract goals or changing behaviour is very hard. If it would be easy, one would have done it already! While the methods in the book might work (tracking, logging etc.), I think one crucial point is not highlighted enough... It's the realisation and internalisation that our higher level of consciousness (aka ego, self) is quite powerless against the lower level (aka lizard brain, id, inner child, flesh, carnal self, monkey mind) except perhaps in the most immediate and direct behaviour -- and sometimes not even there. So to improve the success rate of achieving abstract goals or a behavioural change, the lower level of consciousness should be more or less re-trained. The higher level of consciousness should take the trainer role, not unlike as if training a dog or a child. Methods from behavioural psychology apply, but I think in practice positive reinforcement is easiest. It works well for example with exercise habit building. The body craves energy immediately after training so a small treat like piece of chocolate will have a large reinforcing effect.

11:24 wow. the "why-power" sounds like "knee-grow" from a joke from youtube. (it reminds "white power" same as "knee-grow" reminds the n-word). i hope this wasn't intentional as the author isn't a native speaker
