Hey man, I don't know if that's you or somebody else who edit your videos but everything is ON POINT. Takes, transition between takes, recorded voice quality, story line, music, etc. Congratulations.
Seems fun... but I also wish we'd classify class 1 vs everything else as moped. If it has a throttle... I struggle to think it should be on any paths or trails.
Your kidding right… The c5 kind of sucks. It’s super small you can basically bunny hop it. do you even know the average speed in tour d France lol. Bikes with no motor can go just as fast. You realize mtb’s road bikes etc not only can go faster then class one and even the big companies are pushing over the wattage of the himiway c5
@saleen692 well aware. Own many. But a throttle isn't appropriate IMO on public paths. Assist and throttles are very different. We didn't allow it with mopeds, why change it when the fuel type is different. Mini bikes weren't allowed either.
So I bought a couple of Mountain Bike Action magazines the other day for the first time in over ten years. There were no giant ads for ordering bikes and parts like there used to be and very few bikes that were not electric. I guess I'm done reading that magazine now
I have a bike like this. It’s great for running errands and getting a quick 28 mph adrenaline rush. The throttle means no wear and tear on your knees too.
I had a friend that built an ebike from a kit that he bought from China a few years back. He put a speedometer on it. We have a large parking lot at work and we work nights and no one is out there at 4 am. He had me ride it back and forth between our buildings I had the bike almost at 50 mph. So I know they can build bikes like that if they wanted to
Another thought, if you wanted to try some trail riding on it, take it up to Rampart Range and try it out on some of the moto trails there, that is a motorized trail system, so no restrictions on ebikes at all.
Looks like that would be a great commuter for in city rides on nice days. Not pedaling means not getting sweaty in work clothes then having to sit in an office...I agree the twist throttle would be better for riding, but the thumb throttle is probably better for pedaling which is probably why they have it that way. Let's be honest it's probably also cheaper...:). It looks like fun!
What I hate about electric bikes is when someone passes me while riding on the bike path then when they pass me it's some little grandma with a big smile on her face so I guess it's good.
This thing is kinda in the gray area between pedal assist class 1 ebikes and electric motorcycles like Surrons. 28mph is approaching the speeds of 50cc sctooters. FWIW in Denver, class 2 ebikes can ride on bike paths, but class 3s can only ride on the road, unlocking that bike technically bumps it up to class 3. Just don't be "that guy" that gets into a major crash with one in a bike lane and causes the state to require license and insurance for all ebikes and gets them banned from bike lanes.
I got some of the less expensive Go Trax machines like that. It wasn't what I'm after. But I do love my YT Decoy way more than I expected. I make it a personal rule to not ride on streets anymore. Neighborhoods are the worst. People look right at you while they pull out right in front of you. It's crazy.
This does not make any sense to me as a bicycle, it's useless. But as a motorcycle it makes more sense. This is more of a electric motorcycle with optional pedalling. Great you mention how it's not intended for pedalling. Geometry, no bicycle saddle, inefficient pedalling, and of course not legal to ride on a cycle path an mtb trail. In Norway, unless it's with permission as a handicap vehicle. Then Throttle is allowed. . I've seen a trike hand cycle that had a throttle, no plates on it. If a bike has a throttle or has pedal assist past the allowed limit it has to have plates and only used on a road, of course MX track & mx Enduro course. But to a certain speed I think. And even assist is limited I think it was 20 something km/h. So cat 1 I think. I would not be able to use it anywhere else than a road or a MX track or Motorcycle Enduro track. Motorcycles are not allowed on any trail, there are no moto trails here, apart from specific ones in certain areas. So requires travel to get to those, unless you do it on someones farm Some have MX track on their farm.
I'm getting one!! Hey, just a note make sure you stop at those red lights and stop signs. I got a ticket on my Cobra Pro in PA. Unmarked car sitting right by the light and he nailed me. I'm sure in 3-5 years these things will have to be registered to ride them.
@@brentcollins9727 yeah I know, I'm just saying in my case, I'd rather have an ebike with pedal assist and no throttle, if I wanted something with throttle, I'd just get a motorcycle
Okay Matty, the real question… polygon t7 or t8?! I know the t8 has more quality specs. But prices wise.. what do you think??? You should review the t9!
The comments in here like this e bike should be moped 😂😂😂😂. The thing is super small not even size of a mtb. I personally think it kind of sucks like the bike is for kids as a learning option. It needs more power. It’s only 750w😂 basically get a cruiser doing that speed with no motor. There’s literally e-mtb that have 750w- 14kw + Go complain to the bigger companies that you bought a bike with no motor cause they have the same power

Same, that happened to me last year 😂
I have a bike like this. It’s great for running errands and getting a quick 28 mph adrenaline rush. The throttle means no wear and tear on your knees too.
I feel the same way! If I have to run an errand and it’s biking distance, I usually just take this lol

Go ride it. It will change your mind. Silly to think this bike in a gray area.
Freaking scooter go faster thing this bike

Hey man, your the reason why im gonna start biking too,it would really make my day if you give me a motivational quote from my Idol!, thanks.
Does the handlebar height of this bike give you any thoughts about the handlebar height on your bicycles, or vice versa?
These handlebars remind me of bmx handlebars. I like the height of them
Not my cup of tea, I could see it being fun... but if I needed something like that I'd just buy a Honda grom for commuting
This bike can go on sidewalks, bike paths, around skate parks and no one cares. The Grom is mostly limited to the street.
@@brentcollins9727 yeah I know, I'm just saying in my case, I'd rather have an ebike with pedal assist and no throttle, if I wanted something with throttle, I'd just get a motorcycle
@@brentcollins9727 😂😂 people definitely care.
Buy a Grom so you can pay for gas, insurance, registration and be restricted to riding only on the street?

from Walmart gravel bike hawking to a no name moped, what happened to mtb?
Trails aren’t dry yet!
I liked my own comment
I liked it too. Might be trending soon!
I didn't like it but I might be lying.
Prove it
Wired Freedom 60v.
Little underpowered especially for the price considering the market.
Nice but not $23 hundred $ nice

Nice blowing the stop sign on video too... cmon matty!
In Colorado bikes don’t have to stop at stop signs and I made sure nobody was coming lol
At 10mph or less.. am aware. Gotta be a good steward of the community at all times :)
