Block heels and almond or square toes forever! I’ve never actually been able to get my feet into any pointed toe shoes, they’re only half as wide as my toes are. One can only size up so much before shoes fall off when trying to walk.
I love shoes, too, but have such a dismal success rate with them. I choose them as carefully as I can, but at least half of them turn out to be too uncomfortable to really wear. I don’t even wear high heels, only up to 2.5-inch block heels or wedges, and only buy genuine leather, but they often end up hurting somewhere when I walk, even though I break them in at home gradually. Part of the problem is the really narrow toe room most shoes have.
Great video Jaime I can't believe you didn't feature the Vaneli two tone pumps as they would be more practical for every day wear with the lower heel but still oh so stylish:)🤩
Love this video! I know you didn’t mention them, but do you have any advice for the sizing on the vaneli pumps? I have my eye on them from Nordstrom but as shipping and customs are pricey I want to get the sizing right first time. I’m not sure whether to go by the EU sizing or UK sizing as they don’t line up for me. Thanks xx
Are Sezane’s loafers true to size? I hear many people mention they have weird gaps on sides and are wide. I have narrow feet, so am a bit scared if they will fit me. They are gorgeous though.
Yes they are true to size; I haven't tried all of their loafer styles, but I find the Vicky style (which I own) do fit wider - this works for me as I have wide feet. So if you have narrow feet, you may find that they're a bit wide for you. Would recommend avoiding the Mathilde ballerina in that case, too as they fit wide even on me!
It's just Dulux Vivid White - we have two red brick houses either side of us so get a lot of warmth that comes through so was the right choice for us :)
I came across your older version shoe video (made about 4 years ago) and really liked it. It was very thoughtful, practical, but stylish at the same time. I started watching more of your videos. You have a lovely figure and pleasant personality and I appreciate both. However, I like your older videos better than the recent ones. You used to dress more feminine and pretty. The videos from the past year , it seems your style changed to over size, gender neutral and a little unkept. I understand that is the trend and a lot of youtubers are doing that. But it overwhelms your feminine, delicate frame and looks a little sad... Please don't take this the wrong way. I really think you can be unique and authentic.
Thanks so much for your comment; I think, it's also worth keeping in mind that in the past four years I've had two kids. So of course my own personal style has changed to reflect that aspect of my life where comfort is important, but I also want to feel good in what I'm wearing. A lot of items and fabrics that come across as more feminine just aren't as practical for day-to-day. I don't talk about this often but of course our style and wardrobe will reflect the season of life that we're in. That said, if you saw my last video then you will have seen me talk about how I'm starting to crave those slimmer proportions again, and I feel like this has been reflected in the outfits I've been wearing recently (and you can see a lot of this on my TikTok/IG where I share my daily outfits). At any rate, the styling advice I share should translate regardless of whether you like to wear similar styles to me, or not. And I hope that you take away some useful tips (and the odd outfit you like) from them :)
@@mademoisellejaime Thanks. Jaime. Wow! I would not guess you had two kids in the last four years as you kept your figure so trim. I remember the time right after I had my daughter(she is a teenager), that I didn't pay much attention to what I wear as the focus was on taking care of her and the new family life...... I barely had time to sleep....... A lot of respect for you.. Yes, I take away good inspirations from your videos. Thanks for your hard work.
Helpful video, thanks! I'm re-evaluating my closet and starting with shoes. Will check out more of your videos.

Haha you know I was tempted, as to me they are just as comfortable as a flat shoe! 😆
Thank you💐Lovely picks🤗

So sorry for the delay, but if you are still thinking, I got a US9. I'm an EU40 in designer shoes and they fit perfect. I got the "M" width x
@@mademoisellejaime thanks so much Jaime! Super helpful xx
Excellent video 👌
Thank you! x

Random question, what is your wall paint color?

I would separate the categories of flat and sneaker, otherwise I agree.
