Nice transposition. Final Fantasy VI (and that era of SNES jrpgs) are so precious to me, and the music was a big part of that. It's nice to think that newer games like Undertale might be for a new generation what FFVI was for me.

The battle against Undyne the Undying always seemed reminiscent of a Final Fantasy game because of the intense atmosphere and music. I would say that "True Hero" sounds like something straight from Final Fantasy, but it seems a bit too fast-paced. "But the Earth Refused to Die," on the other hand, sounds just like a Final Fantasy song. A lot of boss battle songs seem to convey urgency and suspense, but "True Hero" focuses more on the grandeur of the battle. Bottom line, I love that this video exists.

I have to say, out of the rest of your final fantasy arrangements, this one is by far my favorite. I very much prefer it over the original, and I'm planning on using it as a replacement in my copy of Undertale.
this song was already heavily inspired by Yasunori Mitsuda's work on Chrono Trigger, but it is nice to hear it with the actual Square SNES sound samples.
She is the True Hero like Bruno Buccelati from Part 5 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. They both died, but continued to live in their dying bodies to accomplish their mission.
I mean she does make a reference to the first final fantasy when you reset the game and do you see her again at the top of a mountain so it basically makes sense now
The wind is howling..... Good lord, the genocide route is nothing but horror, and yet this boss is just EPIC! Even though it was FRIGGIN HARD, it was really fun from a game perspective.

But then the driver slams the pedal down, and the car, now halfway in the ground because of the suplex, acts like a drill, pounding through the Earth, taking Undyne with it. Oh, and remember, the ThrustSSC is a jet car, so Undyne has been burnt to a crisp, all because she had to suplex the car.

But then the driver slams the pedal down, and the car, now halfway in the ground because of the suplex, acts like a drill, pounding through the Earth, taking Undyne with it. Oh, and remember, the ThrustSSC is a jet car, so Undyne has been burnt to a crisp, all because she had to suplex the car.
