Got to love mtgo. Power level 5 = cyclonic rift, mana crypt, tutors, jewled lotus
Yeah it’s a different animal. Have to expect these cards unless you ask for power level 3 jank.

@@IamJoshEast Yeah idk. Personally, Rift can be fine in 5 or so, but then Ancient Tomb, Mana Crypt, Mana Drain, all the possible tutors etc...? Eh...
Like I just said, MTGO is a different animal. Jeweled Lotus is about $4 so you have to expect these more powerful cards during games, whether they’re high power games or not.

My first thought of the commander was that it seemed clunky. Funny that was one of your final statements, too. Bad beats but I haven’t seen a desert deck play well in a long time so we got something out of it
Yeah there’s that at least. Always want to show off decks in the videos.
It’s just too reliant on other players getting creatures down and that can be a big ask on MTGO because it’s a pretty spikey place to play.
Love the deck, I have the same deck in paper :), gg, mana flood happens to all of us. I would love to see again in action

I just built this in paper and had good results at my local GS. I would definitely be interested in seeing you run it back with her.

I built Hylda, and I use the scrub draw a lot. It is versatile, so you just have to be mindful. I think she’s better 1v1.
Tiller Engine is a must have in this. You can tap a creature everytime you get a land in play
Don't give up keep going I know It's going to be hard to get in games with that deck. That deck is annoying. I have a friend who plays it, but it's still a fun deck if you can get it off. Keep up the good work

@tribalkai I would like you to try it again . I have a friend who has more tap effects and card draw than what that deck needs. With a stax pice like blind obedience.
Unfortunate draws, I have some tech pulled aside if I feel like building her personally. Would not mind seeing g you run again could have just been bad luck.
Hylda is disgusting 1v1 on Arena so I can only imagine on mtgo how crazy she can get
Have you considered Mind Over Matter? With some decent mana production, it's incredibly potent with Hylda.
I did consider it but thought Opposition would be a more useful enchantment combo so cut it late on.
I think early on it would've been wiser to use the scry ability, rather than build a small army of 4/4's. Just my opinion though 🤷♂️
Marit Lage is a lot less threatening in a multiplayer game. Six turns to end the table isn't exactly quick. And you had on board answers.
Sharae or Timin/Rhoda ask you to build pretty much the same deck and I'm not sure Hylda is the best one for the archetype. She really asks you to do a lot before you get payout
