I love this song and I listen to it a lot. I do notice when she sings "collide" it sounds like "corride" to me. Is the "L" sound in the middle of the word difficult for Japanese speakers to say? I'm really curious. Because getting into One Piece manga and anime, how did "Zolo" turn into "Zoro" or "Alabasta" into "Arabasta"?
I honestly don’t know enough about the Japanese language to answer that. I wish I did, but languages aren’t something that comes easy to me. I can only imagine it’s difficult for them to pronounce it because it’s so foreign, but they still speak more English than I can speak Japanese. Singing in any foreign language is difficult, French has always been a tough one for me, I can never get the vowels just right.
